Nice thing is, even if he flop, which I highly doubt, we could sell him with a profit.

He won't flop anyway, he will play in a good team with a good coach in a league where Mattia Valoti is a thriving midfielder.

This is definitely the transfer that I have been the most excited about since we won the treble.

And what a great and classy presentation the club has made with him. The interview with him standing in front of the platforms filled with trophies just shows the difference between Tottenham and this club. Our owners, our management, our coach and our players are all about achieving silverware. Just as the interview wants to point out.

I cant see someone of Eriksen's level flopping. The only thing is considering the drawn out saga my enthusiasm for the deal has waned a little.

Fantastic signing, the best midfield signing since Sensi.

The best midfield signing since sneijder, and probably on par with that.

Welcome, maestro.

Not only is this a brilliant signing, but it also represents a statement from the club about its renewed ambitions. After years of hardship and constraint, Inter are once again able to sign a top talent in his prime years. And that's because we finally have the means and the sporting project necessary to attract them. If you consider that, no longer than a year ago, we still almost had to beg in order to get scrubs on loan + option, you realise how far we've progressed in such a short time. A big shout out to the Zhang family, the management, and all those who worked to make it possible. We still have a long way to go, but thanks to their efforts I finally feel we're on the right track again. Ad maiora!

Take your seats, ladies and gentlemen. The performance is about to begin.

Where was the fancy social media video that was the reason for the delayed announcement?

Do people honestly believe that bs?

Anyway, those videos always come the next day or within the first week. Don't recall us having one made instantly.

Y'all read this article. A very good read:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jan/28/christian-eriksen-inter-spurs-departure

"Eriksen joined Spurs from Ajax in what came to be known as the Bale summer of 2013 – the one in which Gareth Bale departed for Real Madrid and the club spent the £86m proceeds on seven new faces."

Let me put this into perspective: It starts with that notorious Tottenham-Inter CL showdown, where Bale becomes a player everyone wants to have. Real signs him for a world record fee, Tottenham gets the money and buys a few players, also Eriksen, a youngster they like to invest in and help flourish...

...and now we have a full circle when Tottenham has given Inter a world star in his prime, from those summer purchases of 2013.

Fellas, this is some George R.R. Martin shit right here. No writing can be this good and poetic.

I know there is addionally some story arc in there regarding Mourinho being the coach of Inter Real and Spurs. But I'm too tired to come up with it :p

The delay was not down to the video. We probably subjected him to a second physical to ensure he is up to the task.

I only hope Conte decides to play him and that our coach is still not pining for Vidal.

Welcome Christian!

Here's hoping that you will love your new club, your teammates and our crazy supporters.

Forza Inter!

Depends how you define flopping for a player like this. Any player can flop, even Eriksen. But most likely a "flopping" Eriksen will still be an upgrade to our midfield. His normal level is that high.

The most assists for any EPL player since he joined Spurs, just that stat sums it up.

I dont have the football expertise you guys all have. But even I can see that, in a bad day, it would still very hard to take the ball away from Eriksen. He is so deadly smart, sort of like Kaka who does not need a lot of effort to play the ball into a meaningful position where teamates may have chance to do something. It is like singing opera without even trying. There nothing fancy in him, like trivela or particular ways dribbling pass an opponent, but everything he does contains a lot of composure and efficiency. Not sure how Conte would reinvent the formation to fit him in though, he can play in Sensi, Barella or even Lautaro/Lukaku position. Its hard to think about switching to diamond mid with Eriksen-Sensi-Barella-Brozo.

Eriksen has scored 28 goals with his right foot, 21 goals with his left foot in the premier league

We should obviously play 4312, the best formation according to browha.
