mod's, could you please make your intentions clear on how you plan on going about organising the threads for the champions league. Past years it has been all over the joint. New thread for every phase? group, last 16, etc or jsut group and knockout.

I wouldnt mind one for every phase and a poll so people could vote on who they would not mind facing in that specific round.

p.s. please lets get liverpool.

I think we should do 2 threads. 1 for group and preliminary rounds, the other for knockout roudns.

I rather not get Celtic. Can you imagine Celtic getting a random corner kick goal in and coming to the Meazza to defend?

I'm with Hal. LIVER****INGPOOL, give them the real Milanal treatment. I see a great atmosphere with the french too.

I'm glad Lyon won last night, such a talented team..Their form keeps on growing and I don't think any club would be happy if the get Lyon in 1/16..

2 goals and assist by Benzema who is a very good prospect and I hope those rumors about Milan being interested in him were true..

Anyone but Arsenal and Lyon would be a good draw for Milan, me thinks..

IMO Benzema is nothing special. He is good, I don't deny that, but not THAT good... Ben Arfa is much better prospect than him..

lol, it sounds like your asking permission or something dude. Grow a sack and just make one. I mean you don't ask a prostitute where you can stick it, do you? Every orifice is fair game. It's the same situation in regard to making a topic.

5 ManU fans stabbed in Rome. Britishers crying for Roma to get kicked out of CL.

Why is it that it always haapens with teh ManU fans? Madrid, Olympiakos, Sporting, Dynamo Kiev, Bremen all came to Rome and left with out trouble. ManU fans came from a completely meaning less game, and still managed to get stabbed?

The 7 goals weren't there, when they first came to Rome. Still they got the beating of a life time from Italian police.

that should teach them well. Some England fans realli need to get some lessons

I dont thin it is funny at all...
They should all get arrested and never ever visit any football match + if they ever get arrested for doing the same on street, I would send them to prisons for some years...

Every attack with knifes and stuff like that is potential death, and should count as 'trying to kill a guy'
Who made rules....grrrrrrrr

England to launch hooligan war against the romans, the man U fans to finally carry knives this time,... goal.com hahaha

This is rediciolous, two years in a row i believe, yet the punishment to the people must not be severe if they still attempt to do this. CRONerazurro is right, Many years in jail would be usefull and mite just keep them from perfoming stupid acts like this.

It's never late to congratulate I guess :)

Inter did not surprise anyone with the first place. We did not perform anything extraordinary, however managed to get 11 points, which is an amazing result from a Turkish Club.

I believe the biggest dissapointment was CSKA. They actually had a chance at the begining of the campaign. Not that I complain :)

I wish Inter the best luck in their games ahead.

They are not ultras, could be hooligans, but not ultras :D

Really, the English are not that immune from attacks outside of England
