Arsenal was hailed for playing the perfect football during their 49 game unbeaten run.

Certainly not by me.

EPL goalies better stop buttering their gloves before game. That way, we can ensure that Carrol won't spill Seedorf's shot, Dudek will hang on to Berbatov's strike and Carson will find Cannavaro's header easier to handle.

Anyway, I'm surprised to see Liverpool win. I really thought they have no chance, but they deserved it. However, I am 90% sure that Juve will win the second leg 1-0 and advance, that's Juve.

The ref was unbelievable, I thought it was a Serie A game. He was giving Juve way too many calls, the commentators were wondering that too.

The commentators here were actually really pleased with the referee, and the commentator was old Liverpool player Glenn Hysén. We have such objective media here in Sweden. :D

I thought the referee did great, which is not what you can say about Carson´s episode. He was really good during the entire game, but I was just waiting for that away goal.

Must have been the first time in my life, I screamed out of joy when Livershit scored.

I think this away goal is crucial.

I'm not sure about that, Cannavaro elbowed Nunez/Garcia in front of the linesman and the ref wasn't far, no call was given. But again Finnan was diving so maybe the ref just wasn't buying.

The ESPN commentarors, Hill and Rae, are very objective. I think one is Scottish and likes ManU and the other is an Arsenal fan, I'm not sure, but they weren't happy with the referee.

But fairness to Carson, that save on DP was really something, he was playing with Leeds in Division one 3 months ago after all, and he is 19 I believe.

I'm freaking impressed with Garcia  . Is this the same Barca misfit who was terrible and more like Morfeo? He played well and the goal was magnificent.

He just has to stop one of the worse celebrations ever: Sucking his thumb after each goal. I don't know if that's directed towards a kid of his or whatever, but it makes me uncomfortable.

obviously Hamed neverrrr watches EPL if he hasnt seen Garcia. no suprise there anyway lol.

Im so freaking happy Juve lost, but man Cannavaro was amazing. The right handside of the juve defence is like freebies to attacknig teams.

Thuram and Zebina :dielaugh:

I always think that Garcia, along with Baros, are nothing but over-rated players who are very inconsistent but score very nice goals. He scored another cracker against Juve. :star: Actually, I don't think he was a misfit in Barcelona. I heard a lot of Cules stating that they regret that Luis Garcia has to leave them but if I'm not wrong, Liverpool buy out his clause and thus there is nothing that the club can do.

Strangely, I was a neutral for this tie. As much as I hate Juventus, perhaps the fact that I like Serie A and hate EPL made me a neutral. If only there's an option where both teams get knocked out. :D

Hamed, I think the commentators on ESPN are Rae and Tommy Smyth. Smyth is a retard but Rae is pretty good and holds no loyalty to any team, except his hometown team, Aberdeen. (I think)

Anyway good game between Ju-gay and Liverpool. It definitely surpassed my expectations. You just knew the Zebras would get that precious away goal. I can't see Liverpool playing the way they did yesterday for the 2nd leg though.

Didn't even bother watching Lyon/PSV.

Juve got lucky once again, I loved to see Liverpool dominate them though. And with so many absences in the team as well.

Their defence can be so bad! Thuram was totally out of it yesterday. We can easily score 2 or 3 against them in Turin.

1 more thing, fans:

Liverpool: glorious, they chanted and supported the team in a wonderful way, well done!!

Juve: they organised a "Friends" banner to show that things happened in the past belong in the past and that they want to be friendly with English fans. While they showed the banner on the pitch, a large part of Juve fans turned their backs in protest. Gobbi di merda :yuck:

Lucky? One shot to the post, one legimate goal disallowed (DP´s goal), i wouldn´t call that lucky.

Anyway, Go Bayern Go!

I was really surprised that Liverpool did so well against Juve, I thought they would struggle. The odds were 9-1 for Liverpool to win and at work we were thinking of putting some money on, but honestly we thought they had no chance! It is a shame that Liverpool conceded that away goal coz now they will prob have to score, but hopefully they will still make it through.

As for Bayern I am expecting better from them next week, thankfully they got some away goals so there is a chance!! I do not want Chelsea anywhere near the semi finals.

I have the feeling PSV might beat Mulan. If that happens we have to create songs in order to make fun of Mulan. Oh, if that happens I will be so happy! :p

I was thinking of how happy you must've been! I was so damn happy, I swear, for once the depression and humiliation was lifted.

But Hey, when defending with 10 doesn't work and the whistles don't go your way, you don't win all the time. My favourite moment was at the end when Buffon miskicked the ball to the stands instead of upfield. :dielaugh: :dielaugh: :dielaugh:

Liverpool have just checked into my good book. :star:
