We should still make the top 2! However what interesting about this group is that there is no CLEAR push over!

I guess its an overall good draw. I didn't want Werder Bremen at the end, I definately would have rathered Rosenborg (for Revenge) or Maccabi. Anywayz I think its an ok group. Better than most of the groups. Though I wish we were in group D with Man U, Sparta, and Fenerbache or in Group E with Arsenal, PSV and Rosenborg instead.

Oh well.

Can't wait for those games to come, especially the Valencia-Inter game. That should be a thriller. Though its weird that we always seem to draw Valencia in the CL.

Well it's not the best possible draw but it's not too bad either. A very balanced group. I think we have a good chance of qualifying.


Valencia
Their pre-season was abysmal and they surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose the Spanish Super Cup to Zaragoza. The Ranieri era hasn't gone well so far.

Anderlecht
We'll get Kompany and they'll be a push-over. Honestly, they can be tricky. I only know Baseggio, Dundane and Kompany. But they beat Benfica 3-0 in the second leg of the 3rd qualifying round so they must be a good team.

Werder Bremen
Honestly, I have little to say about this club. I only know that Ailton has left for Schalke and that should weaken them. Marco or Hamed who are more familiar witht he Bundesliga should enlighten us.


I'm OK with the draw. 5/10.

This is quite an open group I think. What can Liverpool do without Owen? I definetely see Olimpiakos going out, but it'll be an hard game for everyone in Greece, their stadium is like an Inferno. I see Depo and Monaco going through.

I think Roma is out. Leverkusen and Real should go through easily.

Well I guess we got to get the qualification at the S Siro. We must get 3 wins.

The away matches will be difficult, Valencia especially.

If we can get 9 points at the S Siro we would just need 1 away victory, or a couple of draws to get through.

Does anyone have the calendar yet? That'll be important.

MILAN - Roberto Mancini followed the Champions League group stage draw on television. Inter have been drawn in Group G and will play Valencia, Anderlecht and Werder Brema.

"It's a tough group but I wasn't expecting it to be otherwise," admitted the Inter coach. "There are only strong opponents in the Champions League because the level of the most important European competition is always very high."

Mancini continued: "But, as always, I'm optimistic. Inter has the desire and the potential to make itself respected on every pitch."
