The first step is finished now. In regards of the CL, we now have a delicate matter. Why? Because we have been seeded in the first group. That should give us some advantages for the CL, unless we get one freaked up draw.
Can someone confirm this? Maybe you guys have a link or something? :) If true it is very good news for us...

Pravesh, isnt the name of the thred suposed to say Champions League 04/05 (Group Phase Draw)?

When that draw is made tomorow I hope I dont see Juventus there. I hope they burn in Uefa Cup and we enjoy in CL. That would be so sweet. :dielaugh:

Why do you have Rangers and Panathinaikos
Yeah i was wondering the same thing. :)

I think its suposed to be Celtic instead of Rangers because Celtic won the title this year so they directly qualify. Isnt it like that?

From Inter.it: http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?N=23802&L=it

POT 1: Porto, Valencia, Barcellona, Bayern Monaco, Deportivo La Coruna, Arsenal. (+ Real Madrid and Man Utd if they go through).

POT 2: Liverpool, Milan, FC Internazionale, Roma, Lyon, Chelsea and Panathinaikos.

POT 3: Celtic, Monaco, Anderlecht, Ajax, Paris Saint Germain (+Juventus, Psv, Bayer Leverkusen,Sparta Praga, Club Brugge and Glasgow Rangers if they go through).

POT 4: Rosenborg, Werder Brema, Olympiacos and Fenerbahce + other teams that will go through tonight).

Does that mean that we could get any teams from pot 1? That would be cool :D

Does anyone know which are the criteria for the draw?

I confused the whole seeding thing with being in the first group. My apologies for making the wrong statement. So we´re in the second group. Here´s my preferred draw:

Porto
Inter
Celtic
Olympiakos

In the fourth group, I don´t really mind any of those teams. Perhaps Werder Bremen.
I prefer Porto, because I don´t think they´ll be close as good as they were last year. I wouldn´t mind Valencia either.

Death group:

Real Madrid
Inter
Ajax
Werder Bremen

I have updated my first post. Now you can also see the 4 different pots. ;)

Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, AS Roma all are in the second pot. Anyway, it doesn't even matter, coz we wudn't face hte Italian teams. :)

These are the teams we won't be facing in the group phase:

AC Milan
Juventus
AS Roma
Olympique Lyonnais
Chelsea FC
Panathinaikos FC

Considering last years group stage, and our away performances (bad).

We realyl struggle against teams who have about 80,000 screaming russian fans. Who wouldnt!?! Thats why i dont want to face Dynamo Kiev again lol.

It is better to meet Real Madrid now than meeting then in a knock out stage. We shouldnt be afraid of anyone as i stated before but if we get Madrid, Ajax and Bremen as Jimmy mentioned then Madrid and ourselves will be favorites. If we will be in a tough group than i prefer to meet the Gooners again. I am still wounded by their win at San Siro.

I wonder how will Han stop his love towards Arsenal if we get to play them. :stress:
