There is this competition called Europa League and we are still in it! Knockout rounds, baby!

Where do we play?
Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland (great stadium)

When do we play?
19th February 2015
Kick off: 21.05 (what a retarded time for a football match)

Why do we play?
because we like winning this second rate european trophy.

Do we have any chance to beat Celtic?
There are chances, depends on how good our winter mercato gets. Sure, they are in better form right now, but they aren't convincing in Europe this year and they as my friend that cheers for Celtic says, they play slower football than they used to. I say we beat them there and play 0-0 at home.

We have a lot of history with them. Also, the last time we played against them, it was a friendly and it ended 1-1, with Palacio scoring for us in the dying minutes of the game. I think Commons scored for them with a typical epl goal /wickedwizard mode off

I don't think the winter mercato will affect this tie a lot. Most of our reported targets are cup tied, we'd have to buy someone from a team which has no European commitments this season (Man U? :yao: Milan? :yao::yao:). We also filled up our non-EU quota for the season, so no one from there.

I'll say this again, with our form over the past few seasons, I'll piss myself with joy if we beat them 1-0 aggregate.

If we get cup-tied players that can still mean first team players like Hernanes and Kovacic could play this game and I would not mind that.

How easy will it be to get tickets in the Inter end?

As a Glasgow based Inter fan, it would be great to be able to experience this game.

Lol totally forgot about the draw, Celtic, nice. Interesting match, shouldn't be too difficult but they will give us a hard time at their own ground.

We manage to score an away goal and only concede 2, I'll be happy as we probably will be playing with the same side playing today including Hernanes ofcourse.

Great to have this "European" pressure feeling again. Bring it on. FORZA RAGAZZI !

This Celtic team is one of the worst in my memory. Whilst they are top of the SPL for good reason, most Scottish teams would fancy their chances against them. Even in our current state I would be disappointed with anything but a win and a performance to boot.

Luckily for them, this is one of the worst Inter team.

Is this the first time a CL/European cup finalists have then gone on to meet in a a EL/UEFA cup match?

Presumably nobody is going to check so I might just start saying this.

I had a feeling we'd draw Celtic. Weird. About the best thing I can say about this tie (and it's definitely not how both sides play such an attractive brand of football that's for fucking sure) is that it might be on TV in Canada. Other than that, ehhh. At least they'll be a good atmosphere in both stadiums.

The last time we played against Celtic, Naga ended with a dislocated shoulder. Let 's hope this doesn't happen to Kova.

Yup Celtic is an aggresive team, if Kuz starts he would be injured already in the 30th minute. Better start M'Vila alongside Medel and Guain. And God bless Naga/Dodo, we have no other choices.

As an Edinburgh based Inter follower, I've seen Celtic in the flesh very recently. They tore my team apart (Hearts) but compared to Celtic sides of the past, they're awful.

Celtic fans were keen for this draw to happen as they feel they can beat an Inter side that they deem 'vulnerable and in decline').

I'll also second a shout for tickets! My friend from work who is a Bari fan also would love to go with me. How could I look into this?
