Mourinho releases Crespo
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits he may sell Hernan Crespo and also revealed his aim is to manage an Italian club. “Crespo has never his hidden his desire to return to Italy and it seems almost certain the Argentine international will move back to Serie A,” said the Portuguese tactician. “Hernan is a Chelsea player, but he's never hidden the fact that his wish is to return to Italy. He has always been very correct. I have allowed him to go, from Monday he will be with the Argentina national team."

Regarding the Italian job, Mourinho says. “I've never changed my mind, so after Chelsea I want to coach in Italy. But I have no intention to leave at the moment as I am under contract until 2010.”

That's what it looks like, Khaled. From Goal.com:

Capello has recently been linked with a move to Internazionale this summer, but he said after the title-clinching 2-0 win over Reggina: "My future will probably be at Juventus.

"I see no reason why I should leave this club.

"I have one year left on my contract with Juve and it depends what the club decides to do."

Asked if he would be prepared continue as Juve coach if the club are demoted to the second tier of Italian football, Capello replied

"Why should we play in Serie B?

"We have to wait and see what happens with the investigations that are going on.

"I've read everything regarding tapped-telephone calls and perhaps later we may end up laughing.

"It seems as if here we judge and condemn people without knowing the facts.

"I defend the club I work for."

Juve are currently under investigation following publication of tapped phone calls from former general director Luciano Moggi with, among others, Pierluigi Pairetto whose job it was to appoint referees for specific matches.

Moggi announced his immediate resignation after Sunday's win, and earlier in the week, the entire Juventus board resigned pending the election of a new board in June.

If the Italy's most successful club are found guilty of improper conduct, they could be relegated from the top flight.

For the moment though, Capello regards that as a hypothetical situation and is more interestedin celebrating the latest Serie A championship success.

Juve finished three points clear of runners-up AC Milan, and Capello believes his players have been rewarded for two years of hard work.

"In the past two years my players have worked very hard," said Capello, who broke his silence after a month without speaking to the press.

"We have tried to give our best and we have succeeded in being 76 games at the top of the standings.

"We walked with our heads held up high before and now that we have won the Scudetto we leave with our heads held up even higher.

"This is an extraordinary group and they deserve all the praise."

Yes. let us allow Mancini to finish the work.. I am 90% sure that he won't win anything except Coppa, even if Juve are relegated ot Seria B.. But at the moment, thought of Capello smilling self-confidently in Inter press room is just reluctant..
If Capello comes I'm affraid that he will reject all good work done by Mancini and we will play like juve :yuck: I'm affraid he's gonna put cambiasso on bench, too (C. Zanetti?)...
So if he has to come, let him come next season (when after all, his contract expires) and let's give Mancini one more, final chance.. At least he is being honest..

Again, big declarations by an Italian figure that are more likely to be contradicted.

He made similar declaration in his last season with Roma. If I am not mistaken, he said he won't coach Juve and then he did.

You took the words out of my mouth Hamed. Capello is usually full of shit and likes to screw around with the media. He made almost the exact same comments about Roma and even said he would never coach Juve and within the week he was there being presented as the new coach. These people were asking him if he was going to leave right in the middle of the celebrations of a league chamionship win. What did you expect him to say?

Plus Fachetti has confirmed that there has been contact with him and that negotiations are open. Check out this article:

http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?...lid=127&lid=&title=Capello+had+talks+at+Inter

Come one Fachetti first you shake up the Italian game now show us your stuff by getting your man.

what did you guys think he would say, for Christ sake he is still under contract, not many coaches would go out and say that he wanted to leave especially not the same day as he have lead the club to the national championship. it's biased to think otherwise.

and precisely what good work have Mancini done, he haven't done shit except making more fractions within our club. he has only given us two 3'rd places there are nothing extraordinary about that most coaches would be able to achieve that with our squad. besides winning two coppas hardly mean that much even if he was the first one who have manage to win on national ground since 89. Stop living in your dream world Mancini will never win us one of the major trophies, I don't even understand how you cant see that, besides having him one more season will evolve in even more fractions, simply because he can't see when his buddies play badly or that he have better players on the bench, and that is without even mentioning the conflict between our Argentinian clan and our Brazilian clan a conflict he haven't manage to solve, no wonder that we ended up in the 3'rd place yet again.

True, and that was the main reason why Roma fans (and rightly so) hated and still hate this man. He said that he would never coach Juve! And we all know how that story ended!

Inter Milan withdraw Capello offer
tribalfootball.com - May 15, 2006

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti informed Fabio Capello before Sunday's match against Reggina that he was withdrawing his offer, it has been revealed.

Moratti has been in talks with the Juventus coach over a three-year deal and was ready to install him as Roberto Mancini's replacement after yesterday's final round.

But Gazzetta dello Sport says Moratti phoned Capello before he took Juve to Bari to clinch this season's Scudetto to say the deal was off.

There had been differences during talks over backroom staff and particular transfers, but it's said Moratti's main reason for pulling out was the damage Inter would have suffered by dumping Mancini and replacing him with someone so close to the disgraced Juve board.

Still think that way even if it may very well mean that we´ve seen the last match of Adriano in Inter jersey?

Like i said earlier, i´ve no problems continuing with Mancini, with or without Adriano. With Capello, it would´ve been cool to see Inter without some of the second class players though.

Mancini is tacticly - 0, but I can even live with that but I cant live with all those average players in our BIG club!
and that is something Mancini does, brings us those players
