I guess this is just the right time to talk about this possible move for next season. As I have said many times, Capello and Mourinho are just the few coaches for whom I wouldn't mind breaking this continuity thing with R.Mancini and co.

Capello might be irritating, so is the case with Mourinho BUT these coaches have proved their worth all the time and that's what makes them great coaches.

So, what are the things which would be good for Inter if we bring in Capello:

(1) Adriano will stay {I guess}
(2) Not a big deal at all but C.Zanetti might decide to stay with us.
(3) Discipline
(4) Cassano might join Inter and would get a coach who knows him well and who can control him !!
(5) We could attract many big name players, as they prefer big name coaches for sure !! Big clubs, famous coache !!
(6) He has won league titles everywhere he has coached. If he can't deliver us the Scudetto, then lets bring in Mourinho after 3/4 seasons ! :D
(7) Capello's been rumoured to have asked for transfer market power {in a sense that the club would deliver him the players he ask for...obviously not all but players who are important, of his preference}
(8) ......

Lets discuss here about the possible coup by Inter ... :D

8) Getting Capello as Mancini's replacement would also mean imminent departure of Mancini's buddies, Mihajlovic,Veron and most importantly, Cesar. And that is only a good thing if it happens right? :p It could also mean Solari's staying.

You have no idea how much I wish that it is true.
I just hope he implies the beautiful flowing football we saw at Roma 2003/2004 and not the boring football Juve play.

Thanks in advance :)

quick translation:

apparently inter will announce on monday the new coach and it's rumoured/said to be capello.he has contacted and met tronchetti before to discuss the issue.
His arrival seems to be certain and Adriano has said that if Mancini stays, he will leave and if he leaves, he will glady stay another season.

Yeah it looks more and more likely that this will happen. Needless to say this is sad news for me. I can only hope Capello wouldn't play crap football with us as he's done with Gobbi.

About Cassano, I don't know what you're on about Pravesh, Capello surely didn't manage him well, he made him the most substituted player in Serie A, basically looking for trouble and looking to frustrate the already crazy boy.

INTER 2009/10 !
Yes but Cassano was playing in top form under Capello..

Since we won Coppa Italia again, I feel kind of sorry for Mancio if he was to leave, but I'm glad that we will also get rid of some players (mentioned before)..

Anyway, if you ask me, and I believe you share this opinion too, lo Scudetto CAN'T wait anymore!!!

Adriano has said that if Mancini stays, he will leave and if he leaves, he will glady stay another season.
What is it with these brazilians? If he stays, i´ll go and vice versa. Vuck off if that´s your final word.

Anywayz, about Capello. I wouldn´t mind Capello (obviously), but i wouldn´t mind hanging with Mancini either. Give Mancini few good - if not great players - and see what he can do. If/when he has players with attitude problems (like Adriano), and some not so great players like Wome, both Cesar´s, Veron (well, Mancini wants him though), €igo, Martins etc, then it´s obvious we dont win any Scudetto´s or Champions league.

If most of those players i mentioned above (apart from Adriano perhaps) are our regulars next season, then i doubt Capello would make us win anything big either.

If Capello comes, i wonder if he brings Emerson with him. Emerson - Cambiasso could be a killer pair. Or maybe he brings Zebina with him and give him J Zanetti´s place. You never know with Capello...:)

One thing is for sure, summer is the most interesting time for every interista. In summer nothing has been lost yet and we´re dreaming our favourite players to be signed...

Postives of Capello is he isn't as stubborn as mancini when it comes to formations. He plays according to what suits his players.

It seems likely that this will happen. I just hope if we change coach we do it before the world cup. No last minute deals like usual.

I feel sorry for mancio but he had his chances and he blew them.

HEHE . Welcome Don Fabio :rules:

this is a very good thing for Inter and I really cross my fingers that we finally will get the coach that I have dreamed of for over two years. he really has everything that a coach need to bring us the succes that we are in desperatly need of. Mancini blew it just as I expected and therfor he dos not deserve yet another chance.

And if Adriano has said such thing he can pack his back and leave, I just can't stand players with a Ronaldo attitude, luckily I don't like Adriano as much as I liked Ronaldo or else I would might have seen him as the new traitor when the moment comes where he is going to stick his tale between his leg and running away like the coward he is.

cmon italians, tell us how far is this story going, will it happen!

the biggest reason why I want this is cause we would finally have a team of great players, and no half-players any more
discipline is the key

mancini isnt a bad coach, but he is too unexperianced and his tactical knowlage (spelling..) is ZERO!

and I only hope if he comes we play with adri up front and 2 offensive offensive guys, not that boring juve style

helal,my dear mate, zanetti could stay!

You could say what you want, but there is no doubting that Cassano was in the best shape of his life when he had Don Fabio running him wild. I think at this point of his career, Antonio realizes that he needs tough love and discipline.

This would put an end to mediocre players at Inter and that Laziali favoritism. No more pictures of Mancini doing sprint drills with Veron and Miha. :dielaugh:

LOL @ The Hat, Stefan. Didn't get it at the beginning, but then I remember what Capello meant :D

You know what could be funny? If things go right and Juve are in big trouble, we might win next year anyway. So even with Mancini (provided the junk players are out) we might be champions.

But I think it's done anyway. I will prepare watching Inter games next year with a pillow.
