Great result. Second half was much better than the first, had more control of the game and have woken up. Candreva and Icardi have been on their A game, Gags has been very sloppy. Grande Inter !!!!

First 25 minutes were the worst, Cagliari had something like 66% possession at that point. Ended first half with 58%, IIRC.

A bit worrying when we are so crappy, but so far we've been able to muscle out results, which says something about this team's mentality.

We played well after moving back Valero to dictate play from deep. Spalletti should really consider dropping the Gags-Vecino duo with Valero ahead of them, at least when we play against inferior opposition like today. Gags will be suspended, and hopefully nothing serious happened with Vecino, so we can have Valero-Vecino and Brozovic in the AM slot against Chievo.
Best performer today should go to either Icardi or Candreva. They're really on top of their game at the moment.

He also created to good ball which Perisic screwed up and one for Icardi which he couldn't get a good shot.

I think we can play much better than this.
Today our passing was either sloppy or predictable, and there was too little movement off the ball, which prevented us from taking control of the midfield. Instead, we let Cagliari dictate the tempo of the game in a way that reminded me of Bologna (at least during the first 30 mins). Luckily, this time Handanovic kept us afloat with a couple of great saves, and then Icardi stepped up doing what he does best. Of course I'm as happy as the next man that we won, but I can't say I'm satisfied with the way we played.

Great game. They pressed us hard and we sustained it and were extremely efficient against a very hard working team. Candreva was fantastic today.


Gags and Miranda got their yellow cards like clockwork and will be ready for Juve.
