Sadly I fully expect to see practically the same lineups as the ones we saw at Celtic Park and Atalanta. Kovacic on the bench, Guarin, Medel, Brozovic behind Shaqiri, maybe Podolski instead of Palacio, but I doubt it. And of course, the same cancerous back 4 which humiliated itself time and time again in Scotland. You know things aren't going to plan when you really really hope to see more Andreolli.

Samp and Genoa have their game on Tuesday, which means sadly even if we beat both Cagliari and Viola we are not 5th for sure.

Sky predicts:

4-3-2-1 Carrizo; Santon, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Dodò; Guarin, Medel, Brozovic; Shaqiri, Kovacic; Icardi

I like it.

I like it. On paper it's solid, and should allow us to keep possession which is what we should be doing - keep the ball and go for the win in Sardegna. They trashed us last time because we were shit, but Cagliari are shit. We must win.

It's a good time to bring Dodo back into the fray and give him a chance to prove himself. I'm sure he'll be fighting hard for it. There's also no Campagnaro thank god. As I've mentioned, the theoretical reasoning for playing a CB-cum-RB is that you sacrifice some attacking ability for defensive stability. Unfortunately Campagnaro offers neither at the moment so that aforementioned compromise is irrelevant. Hopefully Dodo can at the very least attack competently if he plays and hopefully D'Ambrosio gets back to fitness ASAP. Hopefully Kovacic steps up as well. He should be a starting midfielder but truthfully he's below the others at the moment.

Regarding the strikers, I wouldn't be against seeing Podolski either. God knows he needs the chance to find some form. No doubt Palacio will start against Celtic so getting a rest today would be right. That being said, I won't be surprised if he starts this match. If we need another striker this match, we should be relying on Podolski or Puscas. Speaking of strikers though, dear lord are we on the market for a forward next mercato.

I like this setup as I'd prefer to see Kova or Hernanes start instead of Palacio & Podolski, & this formation allows for this. It puts all are best players on the pitch.

I like this formation due to personal but the problem I have is pressing the opposing team will be tough due to the lack of work rate some of our players have. This is a must win game so forza inter! Make me proud! Also fuck yeah that Rube cunt Ekdal has the flu.

A win is a must if we want to reach 6th place. Inter were very lucky that Coppa Italia's semifinalists are all in european competition zones, so probably the 6th place is going to UEL's qualifying phase.
