I want it a draw because that's what I saw, either a draw or Golovkin by 1 or 2 points. Compubox is just half of the story, you can't analyze a fight just looking at the numbers. For example, according to the data Canelo was more effective rounds 4, 5, 6 and 7. However no one gave those rounds to Canelo, for most people Golovkin won the middle rounds.

And remember there are four things which are scored each round, not just punches connected:

1. Effective Aggression: GGG was aggresive but not always effective.
2. Ring Generalship: A slight advantage to GGG but some rounds Canelo seemed more comfortable and were fighting his fight.
3. Defense: Canelo was better.
4. Hard and Clean punches: For me it looked Canelo connected the best punches but it was close.

I dont think that many people will be bothered.. That division isn't exactly the most exciting, and he also barely fought and the only big fights he had were Kessler, Froch and then Kovalev. Great boxer but he could have had a way better career.

At least he gets to retire undefeated (even though Kovalev should have won the first).

Looked comfortable throughout the whole fight.

For a heavyweight Parker is extremely quick though. At least he shut up a lot of people saying Joshua cant go the whole 12, though he wasn't tested as much or had a higher output as previous fights.

Been saying this for years. Will go down as g.o.a.t. Easily. I don't think there has been anyone in any sport doing what he is capable of doing. Never has there been anyone or anything like him. Thinking of getting back into boxing. Haven't watched since leaving on vacation in like 2016.

God damn what a fucking fight. I'm a big boxing fan and that was one of the most entertaining fights iv'e seen in the modern era, especially the last round.

Commentators were so biased for GGG, and even though I like him and Canelo equally, i'm glad Canelo got the deserved decision. He edged it by a round or 2, but honestly could have seen it givwn as a draw again.

Hope to see a trilogy soon.

Didn't watch the fight cuze I was expecting GGG to lose, it would be painful to witness his defeat. He is getting old while Canelo is at his peak. GGG will forever remain people's champ, at least in KZ.

GGG won in my opinion, i had only ever watched 2 full boxing matches before this, the Floyd-Manny fight and the Klitschko-Joshua fight, this was prob better than the heavyweight fight and people are calling it one of the best fights ever, they both went at it from the first round so respect to both. I thought GGG won but Canelo ate those punches in the last rounds and still stood so credit to him as well. BUS 101 says a win for Canelo and a trilogy on the way.
