Guess I'm the minority but he had a great game for me. Controlled the midfield, kept us ticking, our play revolved around him completely. Should've signed him sooner he was available for peanuts then.

I wasn't saying he isn't good enough or won't get better, just that in the friendlies he was much better and the opponents were stronger even thou it was a friendly.

I don't think anyone said he was bad but considering the standard he set in preseason we're expecting him to meet it.

Describing him as mid only doing Pass and run is such an insulting to him,

20 yo who can do as good as broja on pass/play-making are going to cost you at least 50M+.

But our management did a good job by solving it , although temporarily, with 5M. It will allow us to invest on the other positions.

He had some beautiful touches or dummies on the ball and it really helped open space for our team. He did look tired early which is good for us since JM10 was so fresh and fast when he came in.

My one worry is that he's quite slight physically and in the last game he got bumped off the ball a few times too easily for my liking. His vision and passing though is near world class.

He definitely wore down as the game went on. Having Gagliardini replace him around the 60 minute mark when we have a lead makes a ton of sense

me to,,mayb spalleti just want to rotate our midfield,,since the way we play need MF to run their ass off,,let see in crotone game how many minutes will he play since we have to play in midweek next fixture after crotone if i am not wrong,,
