its a common fact that most of their serie a writers are juve scum.

but apart from that its a pretty good site tbh, if you dont pay to much attention to their articles about inter that is.

Never thought we could score two more goals with Muntari, Cambiasso, Zanetti and Jonathan in the midfield. I'm not gonna complain. Three golden points for our players to get their confidence back.
Same... i was yelling WTF at the Muntari sub... but it worked.
3 huge points, we are back on track with Ranieri guys!

Let's not jump the gun lads, we've got a big game against Napoli next weekend; that will be the biggest test for Ranieri's Inter,

I didn't see the game, any quick analysis at all? (I was watching my school play today... happened at the same time Inter played). I don't want to scroll on every page for a read. Hopefully there's tape for the game.

I personally await the Gazetta ratings but I'm sure Cambiasso and Zanettis ratings there will be stellar there as well, cannot believe people want Cuchu out of the team :palm:

I'm surprised you don't want him OUT of the team.

THREE FOR RANIERI - HERE'S INTER AGAIN

The new coach gave the shock: Bologna beaten 3-1.
Pazzini, man of the match, in goal with Milito (penalty) and Lucio.

GOOD FIRST GAME FOR RANIERI

In goal are Pazzini, Milito and Lucio. Inter have finally broken the ice.
The new coach chose a proven formula, launched Coutinho and took advantage of Forlan.
Against Bologna, Inter suffered after the break but got the result in full.

Bologna - Looking at the player ratings and you will see what has changed for Inter who celebrated its first victory. The best player on the field was Giampaolo Pazzini. A bench player for Gasperini started for Ranieri yesterday against Bologna. The Inter striker opened the scoring with a razor sharp right footed shot and was involved in Inter's second goal with a delightful back-heel to Milito who then scored from penalty. The goal that decided the game. Pazzo deserved a special attention and he demonstrated it. A goal, an almost assist, an important presence in the offensive front. President Moratti, in one of his interviews, was very clear: "Pazzini scores when he plays." Some advices are, sometimes, orders. Gasp did not understand it. The second best on the field was Julio Cesar. The Brazilian held Inter together during difficult moments especially those in the second half by providing world class saves on Di Vaio (header) and Ramirez (free kick). He was unable to neutralize the penalty awarded to Bologna for a push by Samuel against Portanova and it was converted by Diamanti. The important players at Inter are returning to make a difference. With Gasp, it didn't always happen.

Milito puts Inter in the lead by converting a penalty kick.

The real Forlan There is a third aspect that emerges from the player ratings and it should be noted: Forlan had a good game. Again, it's all about Ranieri. The new coach has redesigned tactical formation with clear intention of highlighting the champion from Uruguay. Claudio must have studied Maestro Tabarez (Uruguayan coach). Wherever and whenever Forlan is the leader, he is the engine. In short, he is everything and more. Inter threw away the 3-4-3 of Gasperini even the diamond midfield for the 4-4-1-1. Forlan finally rediscovered the area of the field that he loves playing as trequartista and second striker behind the main striker. In Uruguayan it's Suarez, this time it's Pazzini, different but not totally different strikers. Involved in the heart of action and no longer confined to the left wing, Forlan has finally left his marks. The best example was the action that brought Pazzini his first goal of the season. An impressive turn and a deadly pass to Cambiasso from which came the goal of Pazzini. This is Forlan. A type of player must follow his instinct and should also get to start shooting from afar. He, in the first half, hit the post from a distance. The problem could arise with the return of Sneijder. Forlan and the Dutch have different characteristics but both have somewhat a similar role. Ranieri will have to invent something.

The caresses of Bologna So Inter can restart again. The 3-1 against Bologna is a good medicine for morale and position in the standings. But it would be foolish to think that problems are in the past. Inter, after closing first half with the lead, literally were in haywire immediately after the break. Then came the penalty for Diamanti and that is where Inter most likely to sink even deeper. So why was this sudden blackout? A portion of credits must go to Bologna, which showed quality in the midfield and in the attack thanks to Diamanti and Gaston Ramirez. The players that can "caress" the ball. The team of Bisoli lost the game when they tried to win it. With this mentality, and with the true Di Vaio (has not scored in 10 matches), Bologna can have a calm season. Inter, however, must reflect on this second half. The goals of the just entered Milito and Lucio (header from a cross by Muntari) will allow Ranieri to work with a little more serenity. Because there is a lot of work to do. The new coach, in addition to the scheme of pro-Forlan, also tried other things yesterday such as Coutinho on the right and Obi on the left. There is also Cambiasso who was the protagonist of the actions of the first two goals in addition to hitting the crossbar. But Inter have to continue growing in terms of starting attack because Zanetti and Cambiasso only can guarantee quantity and above all, the class and power of certain Maicon (almost back) on the right wing. In other words, nothing new is on the horizon. Moreover, Moratti just chose a "normal" coach to revive this Inter who were confused at the start of this season.

Congrads Ranieri!!!!!!!! Always hard to come in and immediately do well. We must not get carried away.. we have a whole pre-season to catch up to, but hopefully this gives the lads some confidence. Good medicine.. and let's take it one game at a time. Onto MOSKVA....

I think it was Muntari.

Gasp was right all along, he just didn't make his sub early enough.

Good Game from Inter. Definitely a huge improvement over Gasp. However, I think our passing need to improve, too many misplaced passes and lost balls from the players.
