Well a CF at face value without consideration of payment structure becomes pretty worthless dont you think? I mean we usually use it to match CF s and to check for short term liquidity, now if we neglect payment structure these two insights from a CF analysis become pretty much useless.
No not really tbh - and dont forget that is consistent. FFP amortisaastion, etc, is all done without any regards to payment structure. Liquidity is a separate concern, and not one that I've ever actually seen FIFA/UEFA give a shit about

Also does the footballing season not end before the summer transfer market opens? In that case we would be forced to sell players of that value in this window.
I'm not 100% sure, to be honest. Conceptually, yes, but for example last year we sold people at the tail end of the season and it was still booked as cashflow for 17/18.

I know that this is for FIFA and that FIFA or UEFA have the official documents my point was that there is no way a sports journo has all this info and there is no way a sports journo could make an accurate prediction on our CF without that information. So my point was i would take all these financial infos from gazzetta and co with a grain of salt.
TBH I wouldnt. They probably get some level of inside info, it might even be an official club statement, but they were pretty damn accurate about last year's.

Also reports of us deciding to already redeem Politano now strongly contradict the notion of us needing to get to a CF neutral point. I mean why would we make an operation now that would give us negative CF if we can postpone it till after the season ended?
Option probably expires when the season ends, so the price would be renegotiated. If he plays well, they can bump that up - look at what we tried to do with Rafinha and Cancelo (sort of).

Note: i m not sure on the details of calling an option early it might very well be that CF is not affected at all by such a measure, which i find unlikely but it is possible.

I guess my point is CF predictions on Transferes are extremely hard to do especially with very little public information so i would not believe every report out there.

CF is going to be net neutral if you exercise the option now vs 1st of May - you're still spending 20 mil in the same financial year

Is the cash flow really that important for the FFP or even settlement agreement? I doubt that. I think the balance sheet needs to be in order and the net capital needs to be zero (at least not negative). Acquiring Politano might mean we are handing money to Sassuolo on May but the capital hit of that transfer starts from next financial year starting in June and it's divided to the following financial years for the duration of his contract.

This is my impression. Thus Rafinha/Cancelo thing wasn't exactly us being unable to buy them last May but because we didn't want to invest to them for their price tags at all (we had settlement agreement for this financial year too so couldn't take those kind of capital hits).

Cashflow is probably done at face value without consideration for payment schedules I gjess. Don't know how bonuses are handled. The agreement ends at the end of this footballing season, and it's this footballing season we need to raise cash to compensate for allegedly.

Also this is for FIFA - they'll have the official transfer records

Then how do you explain Milan's continuous activity in the market? The only difference between us and them is Thohir's signature on that fucken settlement contract.

Hypothetical bs aside, no one in Europer really gives a fuck about the FFP.

their settlement agreement was like for 2 years ago i think? their only target now is to break even by 2021 i think?

we really got screwed, and their timing was quite good in some ways

dont forget they've got a LOT to do - to get there they'll be heavily reliant on revenue increase

Elliott are no joke though, they know what they're doing, accounting and banking is their game, so I don't think no FIFA or UEFA can really fuck them over.

What i mean if Cf is not used as an liquidity indicator than what is the use of it? It makes 0 sense to do a CF valuation when you dont care about liquidity and the timing of the actual CFs.
Like i really dont see the point of a CF calculation in that case, and i would not know what it is used for.
Yes it s better than nothing but a 0 CF over a period without considering the actual payment structure tells me nothing especially if i know that the payment are structured so that they part of them tend to fall in subsequent periods.
Again i might be off but i personnally never came across anything like this and i think it would add very little value to evaluating the economic condition of the club.

Marotta: 'Godin wants Inter'
Football Italia

Beppe Marotta practically confirmed Diego Godin offered himself to Inter. “He is a figure we don’t want to let get away.”

The former Juventus chief spoke to DAZN ahead of Inter’s Serie A match against Sassuolo this evening.

“We have no doubts that Mauro Icardi will remain here, as we are happy with him and vice versa. The only remaining issue is when to put pen to paper on the contracts,” said Marotta.

He was asked about Atletico Madrid defender Godin, who it’s widely reported will join Inter when his contract expires in June.

“I have to underline that Inter have a very strong appeal, as many players are looking for us and agents knock on our door. This is flattering, as it means we represent a reference point in the world of football.

“There are champions who present themselves, that we don’t want to let get away, and Godin is one of them. We are ready to welcome such profiles and I want to underline that Godin will be a free agent in June.”

Otherwise, keep fucking Inter by giving icardi new deal, and keep Spalleti.

Yeah, sell that useless Icardi.
I wonder where though, he's so useless and we'll be asking for too much.

Maybe Real Madrid? Yeah, they suck, let them have him...

idk...why don’t you tell us. You always very thoughtful and practical, always asking x’s and y’s to everyone’s opinions.
Why don’t you explain to us then, who wants icardi?
And since you’re a constructive, matter of fact opinionist, I would like for you to present facts about the offer, not opinions and rumors.

Inter, Marotta:”Perisic expressed the desire to leave, we have a few days”

Before today’s match against Torino, Inter’s executive director Beppe Marotta spoke to Sky Sport about some potential transfer moves, starting with Ivan Perisic who has been linked to Arsenal:”We have to deal with a situation that happens to many teams, the one where players express the desire to leave. We listened to the player, who expressed this desire in a respectful manner: we want to grant his wish but we also must respect his value to us. We have a few days so we’ll see. If he stays it will be the manager and club’s job to motivate the players as we finish the season”

Marotta also confirmed Inter’s interested in Yannick Carrasco:”There have been some contacts, Ausilio is doing excellent work with the inquiries and to understand if something concrete can happen: at the moment we can’t say it’s done

Isn't Marotta usually coy on every transfer deal? At least from Juve days? If he openly talks about Carrasco, we are probably pretty close to him.

It feels like he is making plans for summer which doesn't include some people from the current team.

Renewal - “We have not discussed figures. Inter have other priorities and Mauro is its captain: he always says that he wants to stay and help the team. I like Marotta, I think he is a sincere person and as I said, he showed that today (Sunday). He is what we need. There is a lot of hypocrisy in football but he looks you in the face and tells you the truth. We are not used to this.

Interesting words from Wandita.
