Pavard is tier 1 transfer to Inter, tier 1 since that ridiculously beautiful volley in WC against Argentina. We don't get many tier 1 transfers nowadays so no wonder people on FIF are going mental. I seriously hope he'll join the team. Overall, defence and midfield has improved in this mercato, attack has stayed the same level and GK has definitely not improved. Onana was fire in our system last year.

10 years of FIFForum SupporterPavard is better suited for a back three than Skriniar because he's faster and more comfortable in attack, overlapping with the full back the way Bastoni does. Skriniar is the better pure defender and man marker.

Most Diverse PosterJoao Mario is a good player. Just wasn't a good fit for us at the time or he didn't get the proper chance to get the right role at Inter. Also was a bit of a cunt, but so was Sanchez and we still took him back.
Kinda feel the same way with Gabriel Barbosa. He could've been a good player for us, but wasn't given enough time to flourish. Maybe it was also his fault to a degree.

I know their options for replacement are scarce quality wise, and they don't need money, but at this point it's surely better to just let him go. When you can't even sell "he is sick" narrative anymore, the relationship between him and the club and also fans is broken beyond repair.
And what can you expect from a player motivation wise for the rest of a season if he stays? I don't give a fuck how big of professional he is, if he wants to leave this bad, and he ends up staying it will have an effect on him big time.
