We need to step the fuck up. Our rivals are strengthening whilst we have lost our depth in defence with Murillo and Andreolli gone, whilst still being stuck with our deadwood.

We also still have the same attack as last year too, it would have been nice to at least bring in 1 or 2 reinforcements there and sell Rano, Santon, Jovetic, Nagatomo etc.

What smart player would come to us if Juve was also interested. They've just had a major first team player leave in a position Howedes plays in. You make it sound we're just jacking each other off. Most likely since the rumour started literally today we were never interested in him and that we were just used to jack his price up.

For a club where we are and with the little money we have there isnt anything we can do at this point. We cant just make money appear out of thin air. I dont think we have made any horrible decisions in the market or really overpaid for anyone.

Benedikt Howedes to Juventus could be close to a done deal but the bianconeri are hesitant at the moment. They have an agreement with the player and also with Schalke, who will accept a loan for 2-3 million euros with an option to purchase for 7-8 million. They have not yet finalized with Schalke, as they might be waiting for other options on the market. At the moment the player is in their grasp and a deal could be completed.

Schalke: Howedes wants Juve

Schalke’s sporting director has confirmed that defender Benedikt Howedes wants to join Juventus.

Howedes’ agent revealed earlier on Friday that the ball was in Schalke’s court regarding a transfer, and Christian Heidel has seemingly given the move his blessing.

“Howedes told me he wanted to leave for Juventus,” he said at a Press conference.

“Now we’ll take care of this and we’ll surely have a quick decision.”

The German is expected to arrive on a season-long loan with an option to buy next summer for a combined €10m.
