Not NT related but what's the story with this three sectioned 'play-off' system in the league? How does it work? Sounds fucking insane.

Just a competition formula.
Play off 1
# 1-6 of regular competition after 30 games play for Championship and Europe. Their points got in those 30 games gets divided in half. And then they 10 games to determine who will be Champion.

1. Champion
2. CL qualification
3. Europe
4. Match against winner Play off 2. -> winner goes to Europe

Play off 2
# 7-14 will be splitted in 2 groups. The winners of those groups play a match against each other at the end. The winner of that game will play for Europe qualification against # 4 of the competition after play-offs.

Play off 3
# 15-16 play against each other for 5 games. Winner must play another play off against teams of second division to decide who stays or goes to first division
Loser goes to second division anyway

Yeah. The RB is the weakest spot, but Alderweireld does a fine job though. If Vermaelen plays CB he's actually good for us. BUT only if Kompany is beside him. The only decent LB after Vertonghen we have is Pocognoli. But he's too insecure.

I agree that De Bruyne needs to play as AM. But you forget the impact of Witsel though. He and Kompany are the most valuable and we can't replace either of them. Witsel is the DLP (with more defensive duties). And he bosses in it. Personally I wouldn't play Felliani. He's good. But Démbele, De Bruyne and Witsel are more usefull on the midfield.

Anyway I feel this is our best line up

There is one players in ManUtd U21, Vermijl. I remember some Belgian coach said something positively about him. Not sure he can make it to the National team or ManUtd first team but I like him a lot. Proper modern day full back for U21s. Quick, good defensively and also very good in the attacking front. Only problem is he is not strong enough. Also don't know whether he can make that jump from U21 to first team. Would love to see him though.

Btw, I didn't forget Witsel. I said Witsel, Fellaini and De Bruyne as a midfield trio. Yeah Dembele and Fellaini brings different qualities to the team and I don't see Fellaini being dropped. Isn't he viewed as a key player by your Manager? Also there is nothing much between Dembele and Fellaini even though they are completely different type of midfielders.

I remember last time Belgium against England, Witsel and Fellaini started as CMs and Dembele from the right wing or behind the striker. That was befor De Bruyne's loan move to Bremen.

He's playing. I'm watching Croatia vs Belgium...it's sad seeing Kova outmuscled by Lukaku and let him to score his 2nd goal. It's Croatia defender fault tbh. Belgium dominated 2st half. And what a save from Courtouis on Mandzukic header.

We just played very mature. Defending great, even without Kompany and Vermaelen.
