Man, just see the depth they have as a team. They have AT LEAST two players, two quality players in every position. Young too, players that are yet to show their best.

Mark my words, in 3 years, Belgium will have one of top3 teams in the world.

I'm afraid you're exaggerating a bit mate. For example we don't have a decent right-back. Alderweireld is a center back and Guillaume Gillet is fucking shit. Brazil, Spain, Germany surely have more talent than us. But we can compete with France, Italy, England and so on. Which is just fantastic for a country with 11 million people.

Probably their only weaklink is the RB spot. They don't any big name for a RB spor and also CB/LB. If Vermaelen is playing as CB then CB is a problem area for them and if Vertonghen is playing as CB then they don't a very good LB.

Also they need De Bruyne to play in the midfield, Fellaini, Dembele and Witsel is too solid with no creativity at all. It's like watching Spurs midfield, too solid and lacking creativity. Fellaini and Witsel in the doube pivot with De Bruyne as a midfield trio, Hazard, Mirallas and Lukaku as attacking 3.

Imagine Belgium trailing and they just play Benteke, Lukaku, Fellaini, Kompany and thrown everyone in the box. Near impossible to defend set pieces.

Also Benteke/Lukaku, Dembele, Witsel, Fellaini, Kompany are all physically beasts. So much strength in the team.

Yeah. The RB is the weakest spot, but Alderweireld does a fine job though. If Vermaelen plays CB he's actually good for us. BUT only if Kompany is beside him. The only decent LB after Vertonghen we have is Pocognoli. But he's too insecure.

I agree that De Bruyne needs to play as AM. But you forget the impact of Witsel though. He and Kompany are the most valuable and we can't replace either of them. Witsel is the DLP (with more defensive duties). And he bosses in it. Personally I wouldn't play Felliani. He's good. But Démbele, De Bruyne and Witsel are more usefull on the midfield.

Anyway I feel this is our best line up

If only at least the LB/RB was attacking natural full back.

I'd play Lukako as first choice CF tho. Both are great, but imo Lukaku is more complete, often goes back to collect the ball and can dribble past players.

Also i don't think Chadli is fit for the CM position.

Bentéké's further in the development at this moment. I'll like to see Lukaku after this season with Everton. Now he's got to show Mou.

And yeah. But Vertonghen was first a LB at Ajax as well. He's a polyvalent player. And he's the best LB there is for us. (Of course he's an even better CB). Alderweireld is also thanks to Ajax polyvalent and can play as RB. His defensive qualities are good enough. But his crosses aren't that good. His forward play is excellent though.

Chadli's been playing more as CM/AM then as LAM/RAM in Belgium NT. He's not bad there. But much better on the wings.

I'd like to see Nianggolan play for Belgium though. Think he'll bring a lot of qualities on the pitch. He definitely should come instead of Simons. Simons brings nothing anymore. Just chasing the record of most caps. Nianggolan is a beast to sub in when for instance we're ahead.
