Trust me, it's not that I want to become a moderator, but I'm curious. How does someone become a moderator? Who makes them a moderator? How hard(if it is) is it being a moderator? Can I become on? I don't want to, just got curious after reading a thread where hamed was dubbed. Btw, I fcked up with the title (again, so no need to keep posting about it) and can anyone fix it?

When the admin feels they need another member to help moderate a certain section of the forum they will then ask a member who is respected, reliable etc...

I dont think you can become moderator if your just 1 week on this forum;)

First of all i think they arent looking, they have enough and there is not that much work to do. Second of all to become a moderator you must earn respect of many people, they must know you, and you should be always calm and friendly. Im nobody to choose, but you should at least be here for a longer time, nobody who is just new can become a moderator in 1 week orso. But maybe you can ask it later, when you show your here around enough and when everybody knows you.....good luck mate ;)

I believe him, I really do. Make him a Moderator Han.

He is 25, he is responsible, he is a very nice guy, he is mature, and he is a true Inter fan, plus he lives in Bergamo! what else are you looking for?

I see he has already received a private massage.

Cenetary-inter, I am also a very nice guy, 21, live in Melbourne, very mature for my age, completely reliable, extremely trust worthy, good listener, Also I have black hair and a very good physique, and would love to come to Milan. Wanna meet up? May I also say, that everything is great down under, if you know what I mean. ;-)

You are so polite. Anyway I think it would be nice if occassionally the members could vote on who they want to be mods. In the same way clubs elect their officials or companies have board members. I'll probably get another officail warning for this.:D

I doubt you will ever be a moderator as:

  1. You are suazo2929
  2. You are not in Bergamo
  3. You repeatedly set up new accounts
  4. You went on Milan sites slating this site and people on it
  5. You are Canadian

What is the task of the moderators on this forum?

In my world the moderator needs to make the forum stay acceptable for everybody. He needs to handle when people say bad things. Instead I see the moderators even saying bad things....why is that? A moderator is an example for the other members, always stay in your role!
This forum is getting a place of only argue between members. Members who came here to have a good time speaking with people with mainly the same interest. But I think most members don't want to post anymore, and perhaps they don't want to read the half of whats being said. In every topic there is an argue, in every post there is name calling, am I sure to be in an Inter forum with all Interisti?

My hint is to start working as moderator. Tell people trough a personal message how to behave. Make the rules clear. Perhaps take la grande Inter section away and make just 1 former Inter players section. All this would save a lot argues. Be worth the name of moderator and make this forum back to a place everybody likes to be at and everybody can give his free opinion without strange things to happend.

I hope it will open many eyes, and that also the members will work on this. Because I am getting pretty annoyed. And I'm sure there won't be any fun left when the members who come here with the intention to post only about Inter will stay away.

If the name calling is as bad as you think we would have lots of complaints. Fact of the matter is we have very few.

People argue its part of debate which is what a forum is about.

We know what works here. Most of the mods here have been running the forum very successfully for a long time. They don't need a lecture on how to run a forum.

They do it, they will PM you at least three times until you get a short ban..

Hillarious. How could we see Quaresma in the same forum as Facchetti?

Take what Gasparroni said with a grain of salt, he still has a point. The work of the moderators is appreciated, but there is a benefit of looking at things from another perspective -- not because there are complaints -- but mainly to make it a more successful forum, attract new members, and increase the quality of discussions.

In the end the forum will be formed according to the owners' vision. There's no right way or wrong way, but simply whatever strategy they choose will determine the type of people and quality of discussions in the forums.

My personal opinions are different than the current strategy of these board, so it took me several months of lurking before I posted actively. I could write several paragraphs about my opinions on how to change the forums, but in the end there's no point because this place works for the people who created it, and I'm part of it now.

My point is, it's a shame if someone like Gasparroni who I consider to be one of the better posters around is uncomfortable, while certain trolls who add nothing of value to the forum in general continue to thrive in it.
