Guys, don't get too cocky here. Barca is still the best in the world and their game is far better than ours. I bet they will rest Ibra. Pedro-Bojan-Messi will be a pain for our defenders to handle due to their pace and movement.

Also lets not forget that they had some great chances in the last game. Just that Cesar was excellent for us and Samuel and Lucio made some very crucial blocks. We could have easily conceded 3 goals in that game and that too while we played very well.

Scoring 2 goals is not a big deal for them. I think we need an early goal to settle in to the game. Else the onslaught could be too much for our defence to handle.

We had just as many great chances.

Also I would call it dropping not resting if ibra doesn't play.

We have respect our opponents but some you give barca too much respect.

If Sneijder can't play, we will have to go with something like this:

--------Milito---------
Pandev---------Eto'o--
--------Motta---------
--Cambiasso--Zanetti--
Chivu-----------Maicon-
------Lucio-Samuel-----
---------Cesar----------

If only Muntari would be in top form or Mariga more experienced, we'd need more feet. Now our midfield is relatively slow, but this isn't our main problem in my view; this midfield is tactically and defensively very good, and we are good off the ball despite being slow. It will still be very difficult to withstand 90 minutes of pressure and I'm afraid they will play most of the game like they did last 20 minutes of first leg if we don't have Sneijder. We aren't able to counterattack effectively without Sneijder's passes, and thus they can push forward with lesser risk. This is a huge issue for us.

We had more chances than Barcelona, but it was our home match. What makes you think Barca won't have much more chances at 100k crowded Camp Nou? The edge is on Inter still, but the edge is pretty small. That is because Barca is very comfortable at their home ground and I bet they play much more better, meaning they will MOVE much more (without the ball). They lacked movement at Meazza so much, it was easier to Inter to handle their attacks.

That's why Sneijder is so important. When we can make the block, we have to release the pressure and Sneijder is best in that. Keeping the ball, going forward with it. If we are without Sneijder, it will be siege in our penalty area all-day long and I'm afraid we can't handle that.

Inter's Wesley Sneijder Wins Fitness Battle & Will Play Against Barcelona

Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder is back in training, fit and ready to play against Barcelona in the Champions League, according to Sky Sport 24.

There were fears the Dutch midfielder would have to miss the game because of a muscular strain he picked up against Atalanta on Saturday. He was substituted 45 minutes into the Nerazzurri's 3-1 win.

It meant Sneijder was unable to train on Sunday and Monday, having sessions with the club physiotherapist instead.

But he is now ready to start after returning to full training on Tuesday. Sneijder performed various drills with the team under Jose Mourinho's eyes.

The squad will travel to Barcelona from Milan this afternoon, boarding a flight at 15:00. Dejan Stankovic, who is suspended, will also be included in the squad.

Mario Balotelli is expected to head to Spain, despite last week's antics in the semi-final first leg. He trained with the squad today as well.

:p

I've read interesting thesis at interfans. Someone says, they expect Jose to take everybody to Barcelona (calling everyone), saying that it is important to stay united and stuff... thus keeping Barca still in the dark with Wes, and if he will play ;)

Will be interesting to see what Barca's lineup will be. At the Meazza they lined up with (sorry to use inter formation code :p)
0 0 0 Ibra 0 0 0
Pedro 0 0 Messi 0 0 Keita
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
0 0 Busquets 0 Xavi 0 0
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Maxwell 0 0 0 0 0 Alves
0 0 Puyol 0 Piquè 0 0
Valdes
Subs: 13 Pinto, 4 Marquez, 11 Bojan, 14 Henry, 18 G.Milito, 22 Abidal, 24 Tourè.

I think at Camp Nou they will switch to 4-3-3 and replace Busquets with Toure
0 0 0 Ibra 0 0 0
Pedro 0 0 0 0 0 Messi
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Keita 0 0 Toure 0 0 Xavi
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Maxwell 0 0 0 0 0 Alves
0 0 G.Milito 0 Piquè 0 0
Valdes
What do our Barca friends think?

Getting everybody called up is not too unique, has happened before also. :) In addition to the unity of the squad, it gives no indications to the opponent to find out what they are going to be up against. In this case (away-match) the unity aspect is specifically delicate as the whole team travels together, even Mario Balotelli.

It's speculated Guardiola still won't use Toure. That would be a clear advantage to Inter IMO. Busquets is not that good, Toure is more active and "monsterish". Barcelona will need shots from the outside of the penalty area and forward runs to the area.
