Truthfully I am getting a bit worried over this game after seeing all those 'campaign ads' put up by Barcelona for this match...how they boast about their chances, about the atmosphere, etc. etc....it's kind of like seeing a storm from far away, and when it arrives it will absolutely thrash everything... :(

But on the other hand I have full faith in Mourinho...he is by no means stupid and will not underestimate them at all...he knows what to expect and he knows what he must do, and the players know as well...

For the match though, I believe the opening 30 minutes will be crucial. They will try and go out in full attack from kickoff, and if we manage to stay steady it will be a huge blow for their morale. If the score is 0-0 at halftime we are through...and I believe if we score first we are through. All we need is one goal, and that is by no means impossible even without Sneijder...

All in all the most important thing Inter CANNOT do is sit and soak up the pressure like in the fall...it's the worst plan as that will show we are weak and lack confidence. We must go out there ready to attack and score, like we did in the first match, and we are more than capable of doing that.

Btw, if Puyol is suspended, will Gabriel Milito play? If so I believe it will be the first time in the history of the competition for two brothers to face each other on opposing sides...it will be interesting :p

all of those ads barcelona are putting up are just to hide the fact that the pressure is all on them

whether they like it or not we have the upper hand, so all they are doing is to try and get a sell out crowd at camp nou so that more pressure is on us, but we all know that it's not the crowd that wins these kinds of games

Why is there not a peep from Inter apart from Moratti's comment?

I mean, is there any particular for the silence from Mou and the squad?

Barca players, coach, fans and even Laporta are jumping on the mics and can't seem to keep their mouths shut. What gives?

It's a sign of extreme nervousness. The fact that they have to get the whole Spanish media behind them to mobilise their fans to support them at Camp Nou shows 2 things:-

1. They feel fear, although they try to hide it.

2. They're afraid they don't have enough guns in them to overturn the result; they need extra firepower - the media to pressurise the referee, to play mind games with us. And the fans to give them the psychological boost and to intimidate/frighten us.

They have never got a bloody nose before; their behaviour now is normal and expected. And their whining and all are no different from other teams. This time, we have shown them to be great pretenders. Not only that, wait till we see their Great Diving Show on Wednesday.

This is good point. Barca are in completly new situation right now. They never had been so many goals down before. They feel the pressure and they are little scared.

Like you said, seeing two lightest yellow cards by Bleckeree in our game against liverpool, I'm really scared its gonna be a big diving show for Barcelona.

Javier Zanetti,
Those Barca scums talk a lot. They are under real pressure. I like it. I want our boys to remain silent and just focus on hard working and prepare this match in the best way possible. Barca are talking gibberish. Only the pitch will do the talking, not thier freakin' mouths!!!!!!!!!

People here seem to become almost too cocky. We have to remember we need to play an almost perfect match to reject Barcelona's tick-tack-toe game (which leads to goal scoring chances). They will be much better now than what they were at Meazza. Back then they didn't create many chances because of the lack of movement. It's hard to believe they won't move like fuckers now at their home ground. That's why I think we have to score a goal at some point, preferably at 0-0 situation to put enormous pressure to Barca.

Disagree we are still playing Barca. Its 55%-45% in our favor.

If we'd be playing any other team in the world, I would say we are clear favourites, but this time I agree with you. 55-50 % for us.

:):):):) It can be 55-45 % but 55-50 % no way :p:p:p

Two goals difference is quite much. We are not Arsenal. We know how to defend. So, IMHO, we are on the same level with Barca or we are favourites by small margin. But that's my opinion. You can disagree :)

Sneijder; Stank
I'm leaving school early to watch this baby. This could be the greatest, or single worst, day of my life. I think it all depends on the performance of our center backs. If they aren't on their game, we have no chance.

I think it will depend on our midfielders and full backs.

They are the ones that need to stop Barça's crazy movements. And if Inter can do half of what it did to Messi, at Giuseppe Meazza, then it's advantage Inter.

Baldrick, Gano meant that chance for Inter to go through is 50-50%. So the odds for the whole tie (in Gano's opinion) is 50-55 - 50-45 in Inter's favor. Basically I agree with this. But if Sneijder can't play I'd say it's most 50% for Inter, perhaps even less. I rate Sneijder our most important player in matches like these where we need the release of pressure the most.

Guys, don't get too cocky here. Barca is still the best in the world and their game is far better than ours. I bet they will rest Ibra. Pedro-Bojan-Messi will be a pain for our defenders to handle due to their pace and movement.

Also lets not forget that they had some great chances in the last game. Just that Cesar was excellent for us and Samuel and Lucio made some very crucial blocks. We could have easily conceded 3 goals in that game and that too while we played very well.

Scoring 2 goals is not a big deal for them. I think we need an early goal to settle in to the game. Else the onslaught could be too much for our defence to handle.
