Hey all, check out this article Kris Voakes (of all people!) wrote on what Inter should do to become succesful again: http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/ed...rophy-laden-era-is-over-here-is-how-they-must

Surprisingly, Voakes has finally written a good article on us. It's mostly stuff we are all aware of (or so I hope), but the steps the club should take are outlined quite nicely. I agree with the article 100% and it's good to see goal.com and Voakes not slandering us for once.

I only disagree with him regarding Zanetti being untouchable. He has no place in our midfield, esp. not central midfield, a very crucial part of the team, where we need two way players, not defensive minded players who make 1 or 2 fantastic runs every game. We can still use him as right back, left back, backup midfielder, rotational player, etc. but starting in CM? No thanks.

What he said at the end is what I have been saying the last couple weeks, we need stability, because we NEED our youngsters to develop! We need a long-term strategy, and then we need to stick with it! What Moratti has been saying about the new project and fans losing faith after 3 losses, are you kidding me? How many losses have we seen with the old guard this season?

Why would fans complain MORE if it was youngsters going out there, giving their all, improving each game (even if only slightly)? It just doesn't make sense to me. Basically it was just Moratti justifying his decisions, like renewing Stankovic, Chivu, Lucio, etc.

There definitely needs to be a shift to longterm projects. I know people live in the present too much with win-now mentality, but I'm fine with development of young and talented players now, than getting a group of past their prime players.
