I started to think that maybe it's us holding up the deal. We realized we can't get Radja anywhere and it sounds expensive to have Radja on the bench and then add Vidal to the mix also (even bigger salary). Last season yes we paid most of Radja's salary. Then we added Eriksen to the midfield. So adding Vidal also sounds expensive.

Specially as it's uncertain can we get rid of Vecino and Gagliardini. Vidal's salary is of course more than these two combined. Though they still run the Cagliari shit about Radja that they might still come back for him, but I just don't see how they make it work if they don't pay his full salary.

Just my speculation, haven't read this kind of rumor anywhere.
