Mido and Zaki are back to Zamalek now???

Those two are talented but have ZERO professionalism. Any egyptians left in EPL now?

Yeap, Zaki back to his "owners" and Mido is on loan. Shawky is in the Championship.

Not only Egyptian, but other Arabs as well. There are some good ones from Algeria and Morocco, but they prefer France. maybe it's because of the language.

I definately know that..I meant Al Fayed being Egyptian himself should have introduced a couple from his own country,he should know better about Egyptian players.

As for Arab players, there are lots of Morroccans and Algerians that can easily make that step. Some are extremely interesting talents.Hope to see more...

Right now i think its only Al Habsi from Oman who is in the EPL.He is a very good goalie if only he would get chances...

In my opinion what is needed is for Arab teams to play next year in South Africa and play really good then definitely some of them will be playing in Europe the following season.

Let's hope Bahrain (congrats by the way) and Egypt will make it to South Africa next year.

As for Al Habsi it will be hard for him because of Jaskelainen. Maybe he should consider moving maybe to Championship side just to get regular football.

^^ Thanx Mustafa..Unfortunately i dont think Bahrain has anyone ready for the big scene right now.Our best player is 33 years old.We might have beaten Saudi (man it feels good, especially since i have lots of saudi friends) but this is one of the worst Saudi teams ever, with the worst coach they probably ever had.

Despite that Saudi might have two players that i think can make it.I am bit upset that Iraq never had a player hit the big leagues too.Right now though the Arab candidates for Europe all come from North Africa for me...

My final point and really the one i wanted to make before rambling on is that right now the EPL has 3 teams owned by Arabs. The cash is no problem and Arab players are cheap. They should definately try to help out by showing some of the talent in the region. That will hopefully encourage more talent to come out of the woodwork.

I know one Saudi player you're talking about, but don't know his name. I cal him Robin Hood because whenever he scores goals he kinda imitates shooting or something and he is also in plenty of ads in Arabic channels.

And what are the 3 teams owned by Arabs, I only know Fulham and Man. City.

I would agree about Al Qahtani during the Asian cup,at that time his work rate was phenominal.Believe me he is a shadow of himself lately.Dont know why,its a shame...Maybe he came off an injury or something now but not euro material at the moment but he definately was.

Some players were as well. For instance when Iraq played really good during Olympics and then won Asian Cup. Egypt is really good these days.

Egypt has many players who can play outside. EvenTrika can play with his age at 33 outside, his class is outstanding.

Do you guys know him? How much do you rate him? What do you think about him?

I think he is one of the only ones who can make it, not only because of his technical abilities but also his behaviour and professionalism. I think young players in all arab countries and not only Egypt, should take classes about how to be professional in football terms. The skill is there but mentality is missing.

Is Shakibala going back to Greece or he decided to stay in Egypt forever? He is another excellent player that need to act professionally.

There was an interest from Celtic, a formal one, but Zamalek are so keen on keeping the guy it will take time for him to ever go back to Europe. Plus Zamalek are asking to much for their players.

Sounds familiar. We have the same problem in Azerbaijan. Whenever some European club is interested in one of our good players they start asking high price. As a result interested clubs stops negotiations, player stays at the club and then people say why our football is not as good as European?

ANSWER: Stop being greedy fucks and let you footballers play in Europe.
