Naruto has gone full retard in these past couple of years. Passing eyes through dimensions, everyone using the same jutsus and I donno whatever the fuck else.

One Piece right now is the best among the mainstream ones. It has stretched out too big though.
true. naruto has been so damned weird lately. kishimoto is like getting bored of writting. the recent story is a total mess
one piece is one of very few manga than able to picture the real world in manga. politic, crime, corruption, and it's conflict quite legit.

I think Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is quite similar to it in terms of humour and how it's very serious and has very important topics. Of course the Idea of "Alchemy" is not really there it's based of magic and is very interesting. It's currently at 236 Chapters, each about 20 pages long. And it's like halfway through the story according to the mangaka. so it will go on for another 4 years or so. It comes out every week on sunday, but no one gives a fuck to translate it.
When I read it I feel the Fullmetal Alchemist vibe of it. Maybe you would like it too. In my opinion it is the best shounen manga at the moment.
Edit: I just now read that you asked for an Anime. Magi of course also got animated and had 2 seasons each 25 episodes long. I liked the Anime a lot and it felt a lot like FMA Brotherhood to me. The Anime is really good, but the story is not finished and you will have to wait at least 1 year for another season to come out, if one comes out at all. But you can pick up the Manga after you finished the Anime.

10 years of FIFYeah I hate unfinished series as well...I mean I love my weekly Naruto, One Piece and so on, but I have yet to start HxH because I just want to wait until it's finished and marathon it then. But it looks like HxH is necer going to have a proper end and it would kill me if I would be at an end of a great Anime but had to wait for the proper ending.

after chimera arc and closing nicely without cliffhanger ending with nanika/alluka arc,
I'm quite satisfied now and not bother to start read a new arc
and I will wait till new arc closed to the climax which is need a years or two

Most Important MemberAfter 15 years, 700 chapters (WHAT A FUCKING COINCIDENCE WITH JZ4), Naruto has finally ended.
It has not been the perfect manga, but man...15 years!!! Naruto has entertained me week in, week out, for almost half of my life. I would go to onemanga.com, or mangapanda.com, or whatever the fuck site and mashed the F5 button every Wednesday afternoon.
Damn, all good things really have to come to an end. Thank you, Kishimoto-sensei!

Thanks God it finally ends.
All those top mangas ruin new series chances. I still remember some great mangas were forced to end just because they couldn't get enough attention from publishers/readers, who spent all their time to read and promote non-stop boring chapters from so-called top manga.
