So I have a question: Is there any really good manga out there, that wasn't made into an anime, or was made into a really bad anime?? Normally I enjoy watching the anime and just read some mangas here and there because they are ahead in the story. But I really enjoy reading Manga for example in the bus,train or other stuff. Or just when I'm bored in class or at other boring events.

Jus to clarify again: In almost every case I choose the Anime over the Manga so I'm asking for a Manga that is really good, but wasn't adapted into an anime or a more or less good anime. I would prefer a longer manga so that I would be occupied with one story for a long time and would always have somthing interesting to read when the before mentioned circumstances occur.

I would really like a Manga that is similar to Death Note. One that is more a game of wits and has a very interesting Plot.

For your Informations I am currently reading these:
Naruto
Shingeki no kyojin
Magi
Here and there some One Piece

I won't read:
Bleach
Fairy Tail

You might like Liar Game. You could also try Vinland Saga just because it is awesome. It is not exactly what you are asking for tho.

I'm not watching Hunter x Hunter currently, because I'm finishing some 20+ episodes anime's I've all started but once I'm done I'm planing on starting HxH 2011, although I hate watching ongoing animes.

i love one piece and naruto. i used to read dragon ball, kungfu boy, and inuyasha. imo one piece is the best manga.it has interesting and deep character, well structured story, and lots of good humour in it.

Naruto has gone full retard in these past couple of years. Passing eyes through dimensions, everyone using the same jutsus and I donno whatever the fuck else.

One Piece right now is the best among the mainstream ones. It has stretched out too big though.

Yeah Naruto just has gone in a completely wrong direction. One Piece has consistency. It's always pretty good. Naruto is going to end this year anyway and bleach...oh god. Bleach not having an anime says it all. People if you like shounen series read Magi it's really good. at the moment my favourite mainstream manga. Apart from shingeki no kyojin.

Only mangas I've read are Dai no Daibouken (or something like that) and Slam Dunk, both were great specially Slam Dunk :epicwin:

Slam Dunk is fucking awesome. However, it leaves you with the bluest of balls of all time. The series ended way too prematurely! But there's no doubt that Slam Dunk for me is the best sports manga of all time, bar none.
