It would be a stupid move, if we happen not to get him. He did no wonders for us for sure but he still was good. We can't go for so called star players, so he was perfect for us. He is young, so called Italian, Serie experience, was with us and did quite well during his stay with us. It is normal to have looked for a reduction in his price tag but losing him would be a mistake for sure. I still hope that we will get him and that his agent is playing some kind of game, to force us to make a decision ASAP. That being said, if Samp is asking for €12million for him (as some rumours say?), I would understand the management but if the asking price is around €6million so on, then we should just get him.

bismilah, yeah, it's ok by me if inter try to reduce his transfer fee, but what's absurd is some how we failed to get him...if that's what happened(the agreed price was 6 million insyaallah) then management handle it poorly...seriously.....in era of overpriced and over hype player right now, poli-esque (buy promising player at bargain price) deal will be hard to do and some how we managed to slip it off....

This club continues to baffle me with it's mercato decisions. Not sure what the final numbers were to buy Poli, whether it was 6 or 12mil but if it was the former, then wow. Even if Poli became just a rotational player for us, that's a good number for a quality footballer in this day and age. If it was indeed €12m, then I can understand some trepidation on Moratti's part.

Anyway's lets all just see how the rest of the summer plays out transfer-wise. Hopefully we'll have some good news over the next couple weeks........ and by good news I don't mean nude photos of Uniball and the signing of Mudingayi.
