If the team in front of a goalie doesn't work properly, goalie looks way worse. Onana is also a keeper who wants to be the guy so I guess he is overdoing stuff time to time which only makes everything worse. And by now his confidence is so annihilated that there's not much left in him.

Onana is not a world class overall goalie. United bought him for big money, but they paid for his ball playing skills. Skills they aren't using at all because the team is a fucking mess. The team is so far from the point where they can start using goalie like Onana effectively. Bunch of entitled pricks who aren't ready to work.

Correct. I don’t think he’s any worse of a keeper than Ederson for example. They’re pretty interchangeable in my mind. However, Ederson plays in an extremely well organized system, the same way Onana did at Inter. It’s the system that makes the difference. Man Utd has been in a terrible way for 10 years. This is their banter era.

Literally every player they’ve signed in recent years has regressed there. This isn’t an Onana issue.

he had a good season at Ajax and a good UCL run with Inter. Other than that he was never that great... Even before joining Inter i said he was a solid GK that can improve, but it looks like he actually regressed. Playing for United does not help, but that should not make him the worst GK in the top leagues.
