I already made that 2 years ago, but now everybody seems to have understood it too that he´s not as good anymore so there´s no more to say to it, but Cordoba seems untouchable. Maybe after two years of mistakes he´ll get his share also?

I disagree with you, I would like to see Burdisso with one of our defenders. Its not a big game for us, serious yes, but Better playing Burdisso agaisnt Anderlecht then a big game against Roma.

Deki needs a rest, his been terrible to say the least.
VDM been playin good but he needs to rest his tired. Thats 4 str8 games. and i dont th ink his use to that since he hasnt done it since ajax! lol.

Adriano is a ABSOLUTE MUST to rest. I saw him against parma and he was struggling out there he needs a rest!!!! especially with International duty coming up soon.

With him resting this allows for Vieri to play the whole game, and believe it or not i think he can score without Adriano on the pitch. Cause we can give him 90 minutes to play and i think he can do it.

I too think if we wanna try Vieri we are better off pairing him with someone else other than Adriano..But maybe not risk that theory in this competition.I would like to see Martins-Recoba or Cruz.That pair should be able to give us alot...Plus we have other alternatives and a big squad and this is the time to use it in order to look better in the long run and against Roma...

Surely Stankovic needs a rest. We have a difficult match against us as Roma. I think that as the Anderlasht's attack isn't as good as Roma's attack then it's better to use VDM in this match and then we can use Ze-M against Roma as he can defend better than VDM. VDM can take a rest on Sunday. C.Z is back but he isn't match fit. Also it's better to give Burdisso another chance against Anderlasht. We can check him again and use him when needed. the next matches aren't that easy as we'll face Roma, Udinese and Milan, also the matches against Valencia. So it's better to check him in the easiest match of this round.
The line up that I like to see is:

Martins Adriano

Adriano needs a rest too, but he should play for at least 45' of this match, although that I think it's not bad to rest him and place Cruz instead of him and then place Recoba instead of Emre. Cruz and Recoba can help the Mids. too.

Of course I don't think that Mancio will use such a system at least this year, but we have the players for each kind of formations. The problem is that we have 5 great strikers and just Recoba can be used in other rolls except attack.
Also C.Z's return is a good news as we can use him against Roma and he can cover the defence too. He is very good at that post. Remember Cuper's time.

We need to rest VDM , Stan the man , Adriano , one of Matrix or Cordoba . I think Vdm shall be rested because he has played alot of matches this past 2 weeks , He ll be needed in the Roma's game more than Ze maria as Ze maria is the best crosser in serie a but if we played with Adriano - Martins as expected we won't need alot of crosses as they aren't good in aerial situations , rather we will need creativity and one touch football .

Adriano , Karagounis and C.zanetti shall be tried in this match Adriano if things are not going our way .
