Seriously, if we can't win this one, put everyone in Appiano Gentile in a chlorine gas chamber and massacre them Hitler style. Ancona is the only Serie A team who remains winless after 25 matches. They can only managed 6 points from 12 home matches with a record of 0-6-6 scoring only 5 goals but conceeding a respectable 16 only. Nonetheless, this is a match where we should really get our first win in 11 (Or is it 12) matches.

 I have to admit there is something seriously wrong if Inter can't beat Ancona. Stranger things have happened though I suppose!

Frankly, after watching Reggina hold Roma on the weekend, i am certain that Ancona can do the same. Just as we are desperate to get the points, so are Ancona. And we all know how Inter always seems to be able to do the ridiculous, like not managing to get a win at the bottom team.

Ciao,
Tim

This is definitely a game where only a win will do. There can be no lame excuses of 'we deserved better' or 'we gave everything' - we HAVE to win. They r the bottom team in Serie A!!! They have 7 points!! So we HAVE to win - please guys no more disappointments. Make me

If we can not win this game then I really dont know what to say.
We have to win if we wanna get in commpetition for CL place because Lazio is playing Roma, and Parma is playing Milan next weekend and we can capitalize on that. Plese Inter only win will do!!
But whenever we needed to win this season we blew it.
We should keep in mind that Ancona kept Roma at home for 0-0 draw and Roma was one of the hottest teams at that time so I wouldnt be surprised if they drew with us.

Roma is one of the best team this season but also the most inconsistent. I think that 0-0 draw with Ancona was one match after they thrashed Juve 4-0. This time around, after they thrashed us 4-1, they can only manage to get 1 point from Reggina. It shouldn't be use as an excuse if we can't get a win at Ancona.

I hope that the good work and movement they made offensively in the Chievo game pays off and is translated into a thrashing against Ancona....We dont need to just beat them we need a confidence boosting 4-0 or something...The team has to feel good about itself again so that we play better and start dictating tempo.I wouldnt want us to play the second leg of the UEFA with our heads between our legs...

I know Vieri does well against small teams but i hope he is rested for this one to get the most out of him against Benfica..When we relied completley on Adriano in his favored position he responded,so lets stick with him since we cant use him in the UEFA.Plus i would try out VDM again to get him going physically and mentally...I think in this game can and will boost his confidence and give us something offensively

seeing how Vieri was denied his chances in the Chievo match, i want Vieri to start against Ancona. he knows he can score, and he wants to score. so let him do it. and IMO, if we don't start him against Ancona after he didn't score against Chievo might make him think we are targeting him again...

and we should definitely win this match. no excuses whatsoever. i want us to win even if we play sh*t!! even if we have one shot on goal and they 10. i want us to win. period. this whole f*cking nonsense of a losing streak must not continue.

i have a feeling we'll win this one. a HUGE win... a really HUGE one... seriously... hopefully...

FORZA INTER!!!!

we just started playing like a champion....
we need to play like this every matches until we get the hang of it..
at first, we care not for the results... then as long as we keep the iron will
then we can learn on how to win matches..

now, we start from the bottom, we are learning how to play the game..

Cuper said this few times 'if we play good football, results will come eventually'...
What he said was actually true, the problem is that cuper's football is not considered as good football.. by most people.. and I believe some of our players think the same

We have to remember that in the Cievo game we played with stan and Karagounis which we usually dont do.that is why there was a good link between defence and attack in a formidable midfield. This next game he might play two of these players and he might not...But hopefully he experiments on being extremely offensie in this game knowing that is winnable and that the result will make us better on a psychological level

This is a must, must, must win game. A draw is unacceptable, a loss would be a BS result. We really have to win this game if we want anything out of the Serie A season... that is unless we are trying to get into the Intertoto competition

And like I said in the Transfer Market thread, IMO a big factor of our poor showings has to do with Zaccheroni's crappy 3-5-2. That formation sucks! We have a weak backline, with our straight midfield we are weak attackively, and with only 2 men up front most of the time we are definately weak attackively. No wonder we have been tying or losing games, we aren't scoring  !!!!!!!

I pray that Zaccheroni drops his crappy 3-5-2 and atleast go back to the 3-4-3. We did good with that formation, so why the hell change it :fero:

Hopefully Van der Meyde, Stankovic, and Karagounis all get to start this one.

No, IMO 3-5-2 is the best formation for us. Our midfield hasn't really gelled up and they always struggle to keep posession. How to stop this??? Add another midfielder so they have an extra man near them to pass the ball. And with this formation, neither Emre nor Stankovic will be benched. With 2 midfielders in Emre and Stankovic, the gap between the midfield and attack will be reduced too. IMO, this is our best formation, considering that we have a lot of midfielders and that neither of our first choice duo (Bobo - Adriano) has the ability to create for one another.
