Yeah, we need to use a 4-4-2 formation if we wanna use Vieri and Adriano together. I agree.

Handoyo: How do you know Moratti will ask Mancini to field both Veron and Davids? I mean, The Boss aka Mancini will decide the line-up.

Also I don´t consider Veron a superstar unless he plays like one for us. Davids has proven the last decade that he is a world class player. But Emre has been better the last 3 years than Veron has so I expect Veron to fight for his place in the line-up.

The only problem could be if Roberto plays Verón despite his yearlong form crisis. That would be dumb! However I hope Mancini holds his word and uses his most in form players.

What ?Veron will for sure be starter ?What if he will be crap and we will lose some games ?There is so much presure in the Milano.I don't bellive that in that situation we would still play Veron with is only on loan,remember and considering that we have other options like Emre.If he will be crap then he will go back to London after a year withaut playing much with us nad there at Milano will be no person that cares that he is(was)superstar.

Regardless of that, this indeed is a crap result. We should have won atleast 7-0.

A few conclusions after this game:

• Sabri Lamouchi didn´t play a single minute. Haven´t heard anything about any fitness problems regarding him.
  I will remain the only Lamouchi fan around the forum and wishes for him to stay, as long as he realises his position as a back-up.
  
• Emre didn´t play his second consecutive pre-season game and has rarely been figuring with any of the first-teamers.
  
• Mancini is practising defensive formations, unless he used players way out of position. 5-4-1 with a defensive right winger seemed to be the formation in the second half. Shows that Mancini is working on a scheme that will make us not concede goals late in the second half. Good or bad? You´ll be the judge.
  
• Stankovic will be as I said, a right winger. Then we´ll use a very offensive left winger. We´re using Recoba now, and he hasn´t been figuring as a striker, yet.
  Are we planning to use him there?

Confusion who was the captain. Recoba was definitely not the capitan and I couldn´t see the armsband on Cordoba either.

I can comfirm that it wasn´t on Cordoba either. That leaves more or less Toldo, and I couldn´t see that either.

Looking at the starting lineup I hope we used a 4-3-3 formation.

I really hope that Mancini is not thinking of Chino as
a left winger. Everyone knows that he cant truley perform
on the left wing. This, regardless if we have a player acting as
a turbo runing up and down the field on the right wing, or
perhaps someone given more defensive role on the right!
Chino is a forward and thats the end of the story!
We have enough quality for the left wing, hence I dont want to
see chino our any other player playing in a non fav position
as we unfortunatly witnessed several times last season!




The result shouldnt upset anyone. What is imp is that players get
to know eachother and all the other issues which is involved
in training matches.
3-0 or 12-0 wouldnt matter to me, and surely
it wont matter to Mancini.
