I’m willing to give him a little more time to sort himself out. The guy was excellent last season with Marseille. Staying injury free while with Chile would go a long way too.

We have 2 mistakes that we keep repeating: lazy scouting and allergic to young players. We need forwards so let's settle to a guy that we used to know no matter if he is already past it. Surely the decision will not backfire us, won't it? The answer is yesterday where Alexis contributed absolutely nothing. He couldn't even retreat for inches to save himself from offside. Moreover, out attack was dead whenever it reached his feet. I am quite sure our primavera forwards could not be worse than this fraud, but expecting us to trust youngsters is like expecting Hitler to love Jews.

I think Sanchez would be fine if he stopped playing for Chile. Same with Cuadrado and Colombia. We should have made them agree to retire from their NTs both are 35.

I've been guilty of dogging this guy of late, today he put in a solid performance, good for Inter and him.

Happy to see him score - him and Arnautovic need to step up when needed. I'm not sure he touched the ball before his goal but thought he was good afterwards - to be fair, our team overall was really poor especially in those first 10 minutes.

Yeah, not going to throw a party because he finally did something right on the pitch. It was a nice finish but nothing spectacular. He needs to be more consistent if we want to compete in both the league and UCL this year.

So far we've been competing in both pretty well, no? :D Sanchez hasn't even played too much to deserve this much shit people throw on him tbh.

Right, but he needs more minutes.

Just read a report in Goal.com that Sanchez wouldn't mind playing in Mexico or the US. Reasons? Lack of playing time with Inter, and improve is English by moving to Miami or LA. For the time being focusing CL and helping Inter.

Most South Americans are on the East Coast. Miami would be a good fit.

You don't need an English in Miami:)

you don't need English in New England or NY/NJ either.....

Hope he leaves in January and without another golden handshake. This was a real bad decision to bring him back without having him agree to quit Chile. If he goes to Mexico he will still get called up to the National team. in the US I am not so sure.

I imagine you think the same
about the decision to bring cuadrado and even worse since he has been injured more than Sanchez.

Sanchez arrived for free with a "low" salary for Inter. Arnautovic had to pay for his pass, that was a bad decision

I mean I think Arna at his age for 10 m was a terrible decision (if he starts banging in the goals the 2nd half of the season maybe not) but not like we could find cheaper options and he came to replace Dzeko. He is a very short term option to spend that much money on.We are lucky that Thuram is as beastly and has adapted as quickly as he did.

I would have preferred giving youth players a shot instead of bringing 2 super super random goalies, Sanchez, Cuadrado, random dutch guy and Arnautovic. They had resale value but we have a budget. People think we should be like playing fifa and picking Man City or Real Madrid with unlimited budget. We have 0 budget and not every player would be willing to join us

PSG a team infinitely richer than us starts a 17 year old and he is probably one of their best players. We could have a fusion clone of Ronaldo and Messi and still give him 0 minutes because he isn't 30.
