Well I guess its better to have Italian players that care for the club instead of some foreigner who would care less....

For your information, after the Euro derby loss, the only players that cried were Cordoba (colombian), Emre (turkish) and JZ (argentinian. ) The so-called italian players didn't shed a tear.

Also, in the last debies, the only players that were enthusiastic and showed hatred to Milan were Cambiass, Kily (Both Argentinians) and Stankovic (From Montenegro.) The italians are just hugging, kissing or not caring about Milan players.

In the past, I wanted us to have italian players. But now, I don't care. Italian players don't show more heart than foreigners and they never speak out against the unfairness. Totti is starting to reverse that trend, but foreigners are braver than italians when it comes to the truth.

But I thought that there is a regulation now that we have to have a certain number of local players who are brought up at the club for at least 2-3 years? Or does that rule onli apply to EPL teams?

I'm proud of Potenza :proud: ,he made an excellent performance against Juve , only a shame he didn't beat the shit out of Olivera :fero: but at least you can't keep saying Inter youngsters are sissies who congratulate rivals after losing , Forza Potenza !

I heard Potenza was shit in the Juve match . Even got himself sent off for a stupid foul.

You heard wrong. Potenza played as a right back against Juve and completely shut down that flank. His defensive skills are nothing but impressive to watch. He´s of course no offensive fullback, since he´s naturally a central defender.

What he got sent off is beyond me. He must have done something which the replays didn´t pick up, because if he got a straight red card based on what the replay showed, it´s ridicolous.

Superb performance from Potenza tonight.

Who told you that ? Moggi ? :D
Potenza was great ,he made Del Piero and Zambrotta look like clowns.

Jimmy from what I've seen in the replay Olivera was kind of teasing him after he scored and Potenza pushed him away and Olivera tried to choke him , I hope Olivera will get a longer suspension , but I also hoped Chievo's perfectly ok goal would count , hope is useless against I Gobbi.

Ohh okay I see.

I guess I heard wrong.

Or I mean I heard right, but the pesron was wrong. It seemed from Eurosport to me that he was having a good game, until the red card.

That was unfair, they were going for a ball, then Olivieira tried to man handle him. Potenza pushed him away, then Oliveira started choking him. He didn't choke Oliveira back, he just pushed his hands away, the commentators said he didn't derserve the red card.

But his tempers afterwards worry me. He made Olivieira run out of the stadium and the he started kicking the bench with force. He better learn how to control himself, you can get a lengthy suspension for antics like that.

The only mistake I saw make in my short time watching was fouling Del Piero right outside the penalty area.

Remember hamed he is only 21. I am sure he will learn to controll his temper. Gazetta give him a 5 but I think that is cause he got sent off. Since he was magnificent.

Even thought he got sent off I loved the way he wanted to smash oliviera for getting him sent off.

He must just learn to controll it a bit.

forget that, what do u want him to be a choir boy? to me i was happy. First, u can tell he hates JUVE :D

2nd, it reminds me a bit of Stankovic, the fire in the belly. We need more players like that, and just for the record.

if that was me, i would of gone absolutly nuts!! we can be happy he didnt attack the umpire, because that FKD up looking De santis was so bloody stupid that game, so i think Potenza did well by not unleashing on him lol cause man i wanted to.

Right Helal. Bring him to us... :star: :fero: :star: But how the red card situation actually went? I read somewhere that Sandro would have kicked Olivera first..

Yeah, why not! I actually like this idea, I will purchase that CD. :D

Jokes aside, if you get sent off, it's not the end of the story. If you chase a player outside the stadium, you risk being further suspended. Also, he could've broken his foot kicking the bench like that.

But he is still young, and it's good that he showed heart. I just hope our management won't screw this time around.

Potenza got a red card as he reacted to Olivera's foul. Good job Potenza. :D

Olivera started it and Potenza gave him a good reply. :p

By the way, after Inter-Lazio, I had posted saying - "How did the referee see the disallowed goal ?? It wouldn't have been the case if Juve had scored."

And guess what, it happened - the same day. Chievo goal against Juventus wasn't given. It wasn't an easy decision, but still ...

The clue that came to me

Alessandro Potenza - the angel who will save our central defence problems in the future.

He is a fantastic player. I could see that just from the first game I watched with him (Chievo - Juventus). And that says alot. Only player I can remember who sold me right away was Frey(his talent, not perfomances) Nesta, old Ronaldo, J. Zanetti and Ronaldinho. So basically if you believe in such superstition he will join the absolute creme of football soon.

He is one of the best readers of the game I ever saw. In this aspect he might even become better than Nesta. He is pretty fast and tackles very well. So defencevely he is a true diamond talent. Offencevely I didn't get to see him for obvious reasons. He is playing in Chievo for God's sakes!

I look forward to see that part of his game...

I already consider him on the level of Andrade and he has become one of my favourite players. God knows what future this kid might have. Only the sky is the limit for him if he sets his sight there. I'm already nervous he will get some sort of injury to ruin it all. In maybe 3-4-5 years he will have fully matured.

I like his character because he gave Olivera what he deserved. He could've taken it further but was extremely proffesional for a lad on his age to keep calm. It remains clear if he wanted to Olivera would lie in a hospital bed with Moggi waiting in the cafeteria to anxiously try and drop some doping his medicine when the doctors are away.

I want him back from loan this summer and make him play next to Cordoba right away. No bullshit and bollocks. Direct promotion to second choice in central defence. You may say this is too early and that he needs to mature. Could be true, but my intuition tells me he will be ready after this season to play for a team like Inter.

No need to go out and buy Luisao or Krøldrup in the summer. I would only accept absolute top class star central defender. And that limits my choices to about 10 players. If we can get such a player too, fine. That would be acceptable. Any less class players will only fill up unnecesary space in Burdisso and Potenza's development.

Another thing about this player: How on the blue earth is it possible to be so versatile??? LB, CB, RB and even defensive midfielder. The fact that he can fullfill the first 4 of these roles to perfection is a warrant of class itself. He is a bright hope for Inter and football itself who without bad luck will turn into a star with time. We can be proud to say that we created this player from our factory.

Moratti, take him in the summer and let him stay here. Mancini, make him play next to Cordoba!

That's pretty much all my comments on this guy that I can remember right now. :)

Gismo it would be a bad idear to get him back from loan if he dosen't get a starting position on the team.

I also wont him back this summer, but as our first choise LB, where he really have his strenght, But as you also mentioned he can also play all the other position in defence which is very good, since we always have had some probs in that department.

i dont know Gismo, that good?

where would we want to play him. the centre of defence? leftback, right back? or defensive mid? so many options. but give him at least 2 years out playing more.

we can see how much he will impress.
