His biggest highlight with us. But this Conte experiment of ' maybe he still has it..' has to end here. Too risky vs top sides and double Coppa semifinals vs Rube. Bastoni has to play.

The Fact that people here hate him makes me root for the guy more, he arrived at Inter 10 years too late but better late than never.

People also hate Gagliardini, please head towards his thread and defend him.

Do you even watch Inter games? Maybe you should start with the first Derby of this year. It might change your opinion of him.

"Better late than never". For him to play football? Or collect his last pay check?

Cholera is a liability. I do not mind him being at the club if the cunt continues to eat our bench but we should do everything we can to limit his minutes.

I wish it was just in the derbies. In that case, he could be an option against weak opponents. The guy was terrible even against Fiorentina and Benevento. He has no position in our formation. He doesn't have the legs to play as a wingback anymore and it's simply laughable to play him in a lcb role when he was always considered a defensive liability throughout his career. The only role he can play in our current setup is being a late sub in games where the opponent sits deep to defend a score. That's it. The less he plays the better it will be.

It's actually the opposite for me. He seems like a really cool guy and a nice locker room presence. He's someone I definitely want to root for, but his displays since arriving have made it impossible to want to see him anywhere near the pitch.

Fuck! I hope it is in my external HD somewhere. However there's a chance I made a big mistake. :D

Dude, your avatar probably was the oldest and one of the most unchanged avatars in FIF history and finally you decide to change it to this hack?! This is some voodoo shit I never could imagine.

Maybe we can swap him for Dzeko if Roma want him gone so bad!

Hahaha yeah, because I'm been laughing at this grin of Kolarov for two days now.

Kolarov has great crosses and left foot but he is pretty far from the tempo and rhythm needed to play this level. And it don't help that he never knew how to defend.

At first I was really confused that he got subbed on for Bastoni and figured at the time the purpose was to rest Bastoni, but quickly realized that it was bc Kolarov adds more offensively than Bastoni and we chased a result. Played some nice diagonals to Hakimi and can cross better than Bastoni and of course got that infamous shot. Shame that he is so unreliable defensively (almost cost us a goal even in the few minutes he was on lol), could have been a really good asset to have otherwise. Maybe we can use him, when we are struggling to break the wall against some lower level, park-the-bus team.

Actually Bastoni adds offensively too but I think Kolarov adds nothing. Kolarov were close though to adding a goal against us with that shitty defending but Handanovic saved his arse.

I disagree, while Bastoni as well as Skriniar do fulfill their offensive responsibilities quite decent, such as offering up passing options higher up the field and the occasional penetrating dribble forward, Kolarov added way more on the offensive end or how else do you explain that Bastoni hasn't been as involved in offense as Kolarov was, for the time he was on, while the circumstances were the same. We both agree that Kolarov almost cost us a goal, but this wasn't a league game where 0:0 means there are points to lose and gain at the same time, we were chasing a result. Have to admit was quite a smart move by Conte.

Kolarov has been a defensive liability, but yes you are right - he does bring something to the offensive part of the game. Last season he had 7 goals and 4 assists for Roma. Even this season at Inter, in less than 500 minutes of play between Serie A and CL, he has had a hand in creating 4 goals:

- Lukaku's first goal against Benevento away
- Lukaku's goal against Milan
- Perisic's goal against Parma
- Lukaku's 2nd goal against Monchengladbach at home

This is more than Bastoni has created all season. So the idea to bring in Kolarov when we desperately needed a goal wasn't a bad one, considering the lack of quality on our bench. It just didn't work yesterday.

But the problem with Kolarov is that his defending has been so poor that he is quite likely to give away a goal too. I think he has given away at least 2-3 goals this season. He is like the last throw of dice, you just don't know which team's goal he will end up assisting.

Kolarov dished few nice cross field passes to the other side. He played almost like a deep playmaker there as Perisic pushed very high on the left flank. Unfortunately other than those cross field passes, he didn't do much apart from the idiotic shot at 86th minute.

Bringing Kolarov in to score goals is too big a liability since the risk of us conceding a goal is far greater.
