If we successfully convince Chivu to leave then we would another 1. JJ,Wall,Rano,Silvestre would not be enough.. not even if we have Hugo and Andreolli

I think 6 is decent, but we will sell Silvestre. We need one more person and that could end up being Dragovic.

Yeah.....idk why people hate on Rano, I'd rather keep him than buy another kid who is gonna have to go through the growing pains.

Rano & Juan were fantastic last year, with the shittiest midfield in Serie A. I think if we upgrade our midfield we'll see improvement in our back line just because they won't have to be defending the entire god damn game.

I don't trust Rano in possession, that's my main issue with him staying. Good player, can do a great job depending on the system, in my opinion he's already proven his abilities, and if you give him a strong midfield then he'll be counted among the best current CBs, but I don't want him in our back 3 due to his possession-keeping skills.

No disrespect, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

I think they were both extremely unreliable, and error-prone to a very high degree. Juan in particular towards the end of the season - Ranocchia starting solid, but quickly reverted to the poor Ranocchia we were used to see a year prior.

They might show flashes, but bottom line I thought they were bad most of the times, alright in some, and absolutely abysmal in the other. Wouldn't call neither one fantastic by any stretch personally.

Now, the defensive midfield or lack thereof affected those performances and made it worst - sure - but that does not take them off the hook for being so unreliable and error-prone, and while showing flashes at times, being a complete liability in the other. That's not what you want from your CB, imo.

The best thing we're doing this summer is recognizing that we need a stabilizing figure in our defense.
Wally would be great but his age betrays him and he's just too old - but guys in the mold of Campagnaro and Danilo are ones who need to set the tone for our defense, and then we can bring in someone like Juan or Ranocchia to tag along - but neither of those 2 are capable of leading our line, imo, atleast not right now.

About Dragovic, I remember seeing him in the Europa Leauge but I haven't really paid too much attention to really talk about his game with confidence, so I'm totally in the dark regarding what to expect.

He's not random, Dragovic was very good in the Europa League. He is a young CB who would improve our squad.

Also his name is just too awesome. I would probably get his shirt.

Handanovic in the gloves, Dragovic in defence, Kovacic in midfield, now I'm wishing we got Jovetic and it'll be a Balkan commentator's Italian dream team

He's only 185 cm tall, acording to wiki. That could direct his style in many ways.

Dragovic boom:"I dream about Inter and I await for signals but I also have other offers"

Inter wants Dragovic. But Dragovic also wants Inter. To confirm this is the the defender of Basel himself, who spoke to the Austrian media about a hypothesis of a transfer to Inter. And he does so in the clearest possible way, like a child who wants to fulfill a dream and is close to doing so: "I have not bought a book to learn Italian. But Inter are a great team with a great history. It's the dream of every player to go to Milano, and also mine. But I'll believe it when everything is signed and sealed. "

The Austrian is not scared by the absence of European competition: "Inter will try to do better next year to get there. And they will succeed because it is Inter." But the deal continues: "I have to think, however, only to be fit for next season, I will fly to Basel on Monday. The other thing is dealing with the club, if everything goes well I would be happy." With eight million they can close the deal, Inter, however, needs to make some cash with other sales. But there is not only Inter after Dragovic: "There are two other clubs," says the same player.
