hehe lol Vieri and Martins(and right) are also left-foot

they are the best attack in the WORLD...!

I absolutely agree with Mensur. I like Recoba but I think the ideal attacking pair is Adriano-Martins. Martins is growing a lot, he scored spectacular goals for us last season (against Milan and Bologna to mention a couple) and he's becoming a better player overall, a team player.

I'd put all my money on him.

I don't think martins will be even our third striker.. but this guy will play enough amount of playing time...

martins is basically the best thing that come out our primavera team...
he's the striker that is reliable and briliant... I don't think inter will sell him.. we're just too proud of him.. but at the same time, we won;t ruin him and his confidence...

even though, I believe martins can handle the pressure of being the starter.. but he can certainly benefit learning from Vieri, Adriano , Recoba.. or even Cruz...

Martins played quite a few key-matches last year though (at Highbury, against Milan-Juve...), and he just got better and better. I don't think Mancini will be able to keep him on the bench too long.

I've always thought Adriano-Recoba to be the best partnership because i am a firm believer that in most cases two CF's cannot play with each other effectively. Lacking a support striker is huge IMO, you need that forward that could drop back to midfield and create for his partner. Vieri and Adriano might work though, both are too talented and will adjust to each other's style of play. That's what world-class players do, but it's obvious Chino is the only support striker on our team. If Mancio wasn't such good friends with Bobo and Vieri didn't have a great past, then we'd definately be playing 4-4-2 with the Uruguayan partnering Adriano.

I am positive that Recoba, Vieri and Adriano will be in the starting eleven. We'll either go with a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 with Chino as a very attacking left winger. We'll see what happens.

Martins has indeed gained alot of experience over the last 2 seasons or so, but he's still very young. Probably our top striker off the bench and he'll have strings of games where he'll be starting too.

Don't you think that supporting the strikers should be a job for midfielders such as Stankovic, Emre or Veron?

Well, duh. But in a tough defensive league like this i feel that having a flexible forward up front is very important, especially when they are stopping you from having a link to the attack. I suppose that Adriano and Vieri can co-exist because of individual brilliance, but i can't see them geling as well as a Recoba - Adriano partnership. As they proved in the Coppa Italia and in particular that game vs Siena, they fit together like a glove.

Ma you people still haven't got the point that Vieri is going to be in the starting 11 this season? No matter how much you whine Mancini thinks that Bobo will be a major player for the Nerazzurri :D And guess what? Recoba will still won't play because we well never see him in another month or so. No matter how much you hate Vieri he is gonna fuck you in the end and this i know for sure.

Now what? Adriano is world class compared to bobo? are you seriously fucking around? is this all based on Adriano's recent Copa America performance? Well lemme tell ya somethin, You are comparing the Euro Cup to medicore shit like the Copa America where almost all of the players are comical. Not only did Adriano play shit in the 2 out of 4 games he played with Brazil where the tournament is nothing made up of Comedian defenders, but Adriano was suppose to replace Vieri with Inter last season and only managed to score half as much of what he played with Inter. Didn't Vieri have the same rate? So how can you rate him higher than Bobo who is already expierenced and has been carrying Inter on his back for 5 seasons now.

It would probably work but why put chino and adriano together if u could have vieri and adriano !!!
CHino under performs too often. Every once in a while he comes out and amazes the crowd but im getting sick of his inconsistent seasons!!!

:depress: As much as ill :cry2: miss :cry2: his beaver teeth I think its time for il Chino to move on !! I think if he goes to a team with few strikers he'll be world class!!! :)

Vieri had a TERRIBLEseason last year. First, so many chances missed! Inter v Roma anyone? Lazio v Inter? Inter v Lokomotiv Moskow? And Euro 2004 was embarassing, his headers were always terrible. The english commentators were laughing their asses off!

Second, attitude: the guy is not celebrating his goals, and he doesn't look passionate about the game, he just look pi*sed off at everyone, fans, press, team-mates, coach.

Now Adriano has been absolutely STUNNING, he came to Inter in January and he made an immediate impact.

You must be a great Vieri fan and I understand that, but if you try and be a bit more objective you have to say that at this moment Vieri looks like a star in decline, while Adriano is the exact opposite, a rising star.

I know this guy from another forum. He is a very big fan of Vieri obviously. And yes he can get quite agressive :D But although I don't necessarily share many of his opinions he does make some good points.

BTW I don't think people are just rating Adriano on his form at the Copa America, they're basing it on his form for Inter. When you count his games for Parma last season Adriano actually scored more in Serie A than Vieri.

I certainly didn't discover Adriano because of the Copa America!

The guy is the present and the future.

This would of been a dream, Im convinced Inter would of won the scudetto if this partnership was played since September.

adriano need a player around him at that's gonna be el chino who can probvide him goals not cuchu or veron as both of them are far away in midfield and they need to pass a long pass to him compare to chino, he just can give adriano short pass as chino is a offensive/support striker and he also can provide him a space. adriano scoring crisis is really worrying me.

Adriano-Recoba is much better than Adriano - Martins. Martins rarely useful in Big Matches.

Oba has done more in big matches than any other of our forwards, with Cruz possibly being the lone exception. Adriano is often neutralized against world-class CD's while Recoba has never really performed well in the big games..... and that's being kind.

Im sure we all have dreamed that one day Recoba plays Milan or Juve and plays a blinder, he scores free kicks, he sets up goals and we beat them.

Sadly it never has come true...
