Why are you giving figo, ibra as examples?Crespo maybe but when it was crunch time the second time(the end of 2006) he choose us over milan. And we were the ones who stupidly sold him the first time around.

Figo played for barca and then he went to real...lol barca and figo had to agree with the fee and it has nothing to do with inter...same goes for ibra,he already played for juven AND THEN came to us....lol if he is a traitor to anyone then he is one to the jube fans and not us.

Bceause they are such good examples of players that are, for one reason or another, considered mercenaries.;)

I'll never expect Viera to be loyal, but he proves his worth on the field. A merc has to prove himself by exceling loyal players, which Adriano fails to do.

Yeah, I agree, in fact that was exactly my point. Maybe I should of put it differently. Anyways Adriano can't prove his worth unless he comes back so that's what I am hopng for, provided of course that he does show improvement in Brazil.

There is a reason the Italian media loves him, he gives them stories by saying such things. He doesnt get along with Mancio and the ONLY reason is that he isnt disciplined enough.

He wants to be bigger than the coach and the team, sorry that no longer happens at Inter, find a club.

All this time he was blaming his fathers death, now its becoming clearer and clearer it was more related to his unprofessionalism. That thought makes me sick. If he was still thinking about his father he woudnt be 'happy' at Sao Paolo. He just made up that crap.

In my eyes he's more of a traitor than a star now. All this would have been avoided had he responded to Mancini's offer of a handshake like a man. He preffered being a kid and guess which league he's playing in now.

He said Mancio only said he was his big brother and didnt act accordingly. Mancio is a guy who rewards his players with starting places based on what he sees on the training pitch. I'm proud of it and I'm sick of Adri's stupid behaviour.

One of the truest posts in the history of FI. Reflects my exact thoughts.

Guys, take it easy. In todays football, stand up gents like Zanetti are the exception not the rule.

Adriano answered the question like most of our players, and probably most footballers would in his position. Milan are a great team..blablabla but he also added that he would like to come back to Inter. That's imortant to remember.

Did anyone really expect him to be loyal to Inter his entire life? That's just not the way football is anymore, sadly. And if it was, we wouldn't of had Ibra, Vieira, Materazzi, Stankovic, Suazo etc. And what about Crespo, who's gone from Inter to Milan and back? Surely we accept Crespo and appreciate what he gives to the team?

Certain players will stay loyal their entire life to one club and they should be praised as true legend's for it.

Other players will end their careers at Inter while having contributed to our succes, an they should also be praised. I mean look at Figo. Is he a loyal player? Mr from Barca to Madrid? Or Ibra from Juve to Inter? No, but if they help us win trophies and give it their all we should praise them just the same, and give them a spot in our history books.

I for one would rather give a great, but disloyal player a spot in our books rather then giving it to some bum that stays at the club for eight years without accomplishing shit. In todays football that's the best you can hope for, especially with foreign stars.

I for one hope Adri lights the league on fire, learns to shoot with his right, and comes back in the summer and performs miracles for us. Just my two cents.

I thin your missing out on the main discussion here; Adriano's lack of professionalism. But since you mention it, Adriano would barely qualify as a mercenary, even if he went to BB, because mercenaries make these unpopular changes due to them being so freaking good that rivals are willing to pay heaps to get them from the archrival. They could go for other players who perhaps wouldn't have been as decisive, but they want that quality so bad that they are willing to pay their archrival money enough for four new players just to get that one player.

Ex: Chivu to Inter from Roma. Ibra from juBe to Inter. Figo. This is why we are not mis-pleased with them. + Vieira (I know some don't like Vieira for that NT thing, but shit happens and he always gives his all for us).

Why do I say this? Because all the players mentioned above are true professionals who, in spite of wanting to expand their accounts, give their all for the club that pays them. (The exception that confirms the rule is Ronaldo's transfer to BB.)

=

not Adriano who sits on his ass and blames the coach.

Adriano has only himself to blame for being in this situation. Every time he mentions Mancini as a bad guy he just ridicules himself even more. Sadly, Adriano will probably never realize this and it will leave its mark on his career.

Well, Personally I don't consider Ibra a mercenary nor Figo. I have a relatively liberal view of football transfers. But the fact remains many people concider Figo a mercenary for leaving Barca for Madrid, and Ibra for leaving Juve for us.

I used Ibra and Figo as examples because they both went from one rival club to another, with huge payraises(hence mercenary) which is from a supporter perspective probably the worst form of disloyalty.

Forza Ragazzi, I never called Adriano a mercenary I just said he was disloyal and obviously if he's willing to join Milan he is. My point is that I don't go crazy over it because in the end what matters is how well he performs for the club.

I agree that his professionalism is another issue. Probably the most important one. I was the first one to critisize Adriano after he refused to shake Mancini's hand, and I realize maybe it is too late for Adriano at Inter. It's just seems like such a waste to sell him if he finally does find his old form.

I seriously doubt he will find that form. If he does, he will never be able to hold onto it at Inter. And if he doesn't, he might perform after leaving Inter. We should cash in. He isn't good enough in his head.

Well he scored another goal. It was a header and it was clinical one. That's 3 in 5 for him now. Whichever way you look at his situation come the the end of the summer, it's good that he's scoring goals because it will raise his marketvalue.

Btw, on Saturday there seems to be a stream for a Sao Paolo match so anyone interested in following Adri's improvement can do so.

I hope Adriano saw what Balotelli did against Juventus, so it pisses him off and makes him work 3 times as hard. Because if he doesn't, he'll never make our lineup ever again.

Han don't try and belittle me.

Nice goal by Adriano, I hope by the end of the season we can get rid of Crespo and have Adri replace him in top form.

So then read them without making a stupid off-topic, non-constructive post.

thanks

I think he now has 4 goals in 7 matches. Certainly some encouraging signs. Just thinking about a fit Adriano & Ibrahimovic is enough to send excitement down my spine...

he headbutted opponent's defender. He said "I don't know what the ref witnessed, but Domingos hit me first. I only asked him why he did so". However, the coach of San Paolo commented after the match that what Adriano did should never happen.

If this action is found serious, he may be banned for minimum 120 days, to maximum 540 days.

The quotes are not exact as I have translated another language.
