Abdoulaie Diarra has been called up for the Week-19 match of 2005-2006 season vs. Treviso away.
Here's more from www.inter.it ...
Abdoulaie Diarra is the latest Nerazzurri academy player to receive a first-team call-up. Born on 12 October 1986 in Divo, Ivory Coast, Diarra is on Roberto Mancini's squad list for Wednesday's Serie A Week 20 visit to Treviso and will wear the number 40 shirt if fielded.
After a couple of trials with the Nerazzurri youth sector Diarra joined Inter from AC Valnure (an amateur club from Piacenza province) in the summer of 2002. Abdoulaie, who stands 176cm tall and weighs 63 kilos, played for the Allievi Nazionali in 2002/03, the Juniores in 2003/04 and currently plays for Daniele Bernazzani's Inter Primavera. So far this season he has played 10 championship matches and one cup game, scoring against Bari in the quarter-finals.
After a thirty-minute run-out for the first team in the friendly match against Suzzara on 7 June 2005, Diarra trained with Mancini's squad in the pre-season and was used by the Nerazzurri coach in the friendlies against Bolzano on 20 July in Riscone di Brunico (31 minutes, 1 goal), Bolzano and Cagliari in the three-team tournament on 27 July (all 45 minutes of first match, 36 minutes of second match) Treviso in Riscone di Brunico on 29 July (87 minutes) and Chiasso on 9 October in Appiano Gentile (13 minutes).
" Diarra can play on the wing in midfield or as a second striker. He's left-footed but can also play on the right wing," says Bernazzani. "He's fast, good at dribbling and helps the team a lot, with and without the ball. He was a protagonist in our last game against Bari in the Coppa Italia. He scored a goal and won us two penalties. Physically he still has to grow and technically he can improve his shooting, but he's a very diligent lad with a great desire to do well for Inter."
