I'm sold on Trubin, but I want an Italian/Serie A veteran GK to back him up or rotate in the first year) not just the best available (aka Navas or Sommer), mostly because he'll help him settle and understand Serie A better, as well as our defense. Trubin has CL and European exposure, and there are no concerns about his character's ability to adapt to a tougher league. Milan did a great deal to get Sportiello.
If Terraciano wasn't considered important for Fiorentina, he'd be my guy to backup Trubin. Alternatively, Silvestri, but he's Udinese's main keeper. Missing out on Sportiello looks quite bad here. Cragno moved to Sassuolo on a cheap loan, again, not sure why we didn't pursue as he was on our list for years and people even wanted him to replace Handanovic, but our 4th choice keeper benched Cragno, which sounds surreal.
Skorupski sounds like a good plan as well, but Bologna don't sell cheap.
Problem with all these is that their teams consider them first choice and we want someone who will be the #1 in case Trubin has issues in settling or in general.
Otherwise, if we fail to get Trubin I'd want us to get Bono or Musso (might leave Atalanta), but I don't think the asking price is much lower than what Shakhtar would be selling for.
Not a huge fan of Mamardashvili, but I do rate him.
From Sampdoria, since there's a chance we deal with them, I much rather Falcone to Audero. Honestly, never got the hype of Audero and people were screaming for him 4-5 years ago. Reminds me of Amelia. Such an average GK that for some reason everyone jerked off for.
