We kinda already have a creative player in the wings in Dimarco. Not enough. We need to add a creative player either in midfield or attack. I'd go for Kamada, Aouar or even Dahoud over Kessie.

I know. They would even sign Roberto Pereyra before considering any of these guys. But it's ok. We shouldn't take risks with players from abroad. Better go for safe bets like Lukaku and Correa.

IMO we need more size there to control it properly. We need more physicality. Creativity is maybe for cases to unlock busses parked to the box.

All this is said with the assumption Gagliardini and Brozo/Calha are out.

+1. In the current financial state, club needs to sign talented young players on a free. Probably lower wage as well.

However, directors may consider that Barcelona are desperate enough to offload Kessie due to his high wage. If they really get a decent offer for Brozovic, they are probably doing it.
I can already envision them saying "Kessie is proven in Serie A and has chemistry with Hakan ".

Pereyra has mostly played as a right wingback this season. Game against Inter was one of the rare occasions where he played in midfield.
