Cordaz as the backup is a joke. He conceded 91 goals this season. As 3rd keeper, it's fine. Doesn't take free player spot in CL list as he's indeed club-trained.

I swear we have the worst backup GKs in Europe for years.

Schira - the Nerazzurri like Marco Silvestri (expiring in 2022) as a Handanovic substitution . Andrei could go to the Gialloblù.

Another baffling move. Why sell Radu (24 years old, slightly above average, homegrown, will be sold for peanuts) and get Silvestri (30 years old, slightly above average, not homegrown, will be overpriced)? I swear we must be allergic to using youth players.

Radu already wasted one year of his career never playing, it doesn't make sense for anyone for him to waste another.

Silvestri was pretty good this season tbh. Dunno about overpriced, I don't know what is his price. What I know his contract runs out next summer and his agent is Raiola.

Using youth players doesn't have intrinsic value. Youth player need to actually bring something to the table. For Conte, Radu didn't bring enough to the table to force Conte to use him. More experienced Silvestri could be a backup who's gonna actually play for Inter. He doesn't have tons of experience though but he has played well at Verona in this past two seasons. Dunno how they value each player, I'd say Radu should be more valuable but idk.

As long as we insert a buyback clause on Radu i have no issues with a straight swap between Silvestri and Radu. Silvestri is a really good GK and he would be a great backup GK. If they don't consider Radu good enough to get even limited playing time then there's no point keeping him in the squad. At this stage of his career, Radu needs playing time above everything else.

Cakir is my low-key option as a Handanovic replacement. I've read about his ball distribution being one of his weaknessnes; thinking that there is room for improvement, but damn, that shitty intercepted pass that led to the third goal kind of soured things a bit for me.

Inter are planning for a future without Samir Handanovic and are reportedly targeting Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.

Tuttosport reports the Nerazzurri have started looking for a future replacement for Handanovic at the Giuseppe Meazza.

According to the newspaper, Inter have identified the Poland international as a player who can potentially replace the current captain.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta brought Wojciech Szczesny to Juventus when Gianluigi Buffon was still there and is looking to sign Handanovic’s heir when the Slovenia international is still at the club too.

The newspaper highlights the smooth transition was a success at Juventus and Inter are hoping for a similar scenario when they are looking to replace the 36-year-old.

Dragowski has a deal at Fiorentina until June 2023 and a move to Inter could therefore prove costly for the Nerazzurri.

However, the report believes Ionut Radu will be sold this summer and could help finance a move for the Viola shot stopper.

Hellas Verona and Cagliari are being linked with the Romanian.
