Raspadori to Gazzetta:

“My name associated with ‘my’ Inter? I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like it. I’m on a growing path and it is normal to want to grow further. But there’s a right time for every ambition.”

Just bring him home next summer.
Yes please.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta wants to sign Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori next summer by striking an agreement for him in January but allowing him to stay with his current club til the end of the season.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri could try to swoop for the 21-year-old early to beat a number of other interested clubs to his signature.

Raspadori remains a major attacking target for Inter despite the club having missed out on him this summer, but they are not the only club chasing him with the likes of Marseille and RB Leipzig in particular interested in bringing him in. Marotta wants the Nerazzurri to make their move for the young Sassuolo striker early by reaching a deal with the Neroverdi during the January transfer window but blocking his arrival out for next summer, with the player reportedly keen on the switch.

TS: Marotta could look to exploit his positive relations with both his current club and agent, as well as the player’s desire to join Inter, to get an agreement wrapped up in January which would see him play out the rest of the season in Emilia-Romagna before making the switch to Inter next summer where he could take the place of Alexis Sanchez.

Alexis sanchez has contract until June 2023, so will he be terminated next summer?

Should have signed him this summer for 30m-ish. Next summer I suspect his price will be 50m+.

I wanted Raspadori over Correa and Zaccagni over Calhanoglu. Our wage bill would have been lower too.

Zaccagni is IMO too offensive to our midfield. In Lazio he plays as wide forward. Also Raspadori is not ready yet for Inter. Correa much more secure option, experienced Serie A player.

But that plan to book Raspadori January is a must. Some deal which secures the deal for the summer, loan deal with obligation to buy but that loan starts only in the summer. Valuation can be like 30m€+ with bonuses.

Let's buy Raspadori and loan him...but maybe not to Sassuolo, they have too many attacking players

He would be Lautaro's bench option

Aim for the stars and land Peter Crouch.....

We dont sign up and coming stars, only old players that dont fit our structures and definitely past it.

Yea the Watford striker, that would be an amazing signing.
productive, consistent, and serie A-experienced would be a nice back up. he might be better or step his performance, we'll never know. Lautaro is relatively from small club compared to many european clubs yet he's our protagonist here.
