He's obviously an asshole. He said goodbye to the Atalanta fans with an Instagram post, completely neglecting that this club downplayed any controversy.
They definitely lack leadership. A more serious management would have informed him that they have stripped him of the captaincy on Twitter.

Everyone knows Twitter is for more serious news and Instagram is for girls anyway. We do not welcome such characters here. Actually we kinda do, but only if we want them here.

I'd actually be on board with this if the plan was to deploy Eriksen in a role with more creative freedom by inserting a strong defensive player behind him. Instead, he just wants three Claudio Marchisios clones roaming our midfield.

You know Marchisio is only 34 years old.. With our current financial situation and his lack of a ̶j̶o̶b̶ club, he could be the perfect, short-term, low-cost, former rube bandiera option to reinforce our midfield.

I agree with you we don't have a proper DM. But i am against signing one with Conte in charge. The problem is even if we signed Kante, Conte's top option, he would just replace Brozovic in the starting lineup. There's no chance Conte would bench Vidal. A Barella - Kante - Vidal midfield trio would lack in creativity big time.

This speculation seems baseless to me. Conte always has a director in the heart of his midfield, it was Pirlo at first, then Cesc at Chelsea then Sensi/Broz here. Sensi and Brozovic are probably the 2 most utilized midfielders in the team too, i.e. they play whenever they're available.

A midfield of Barella - Kante (replace with Gags in our case) - Vidal almost never happened. At worst, Conte would put Borja Valero or Sanchez as AM, or even Eriksen.

Brozovic will be safe, if there's anyone who would be worry, it'd be Barella..

Not true. Fabregas barely started in Conte's first season. Instead he was going for a Kante-Matic midfield duo in his 3-4-3. He played a lot more in Conte's second season but this had also to do with Chelsea selling Matic and Bakayoko being very disappointing alongside Kante in a midfield duo.

We need to get a DM. Maybe some younger DM who can fit to many formations. Just a defensive midfielder who gets the job done. Youngers are of course more expensive but I'd go for even more experienced player within Italy if it's cheap enough. A workhorse who will do his job diligently.

If we have Conte after this season or not does not matter for this demand of DM in the squad.
