Emerson Palmieri could be relatively cheap given what they paid for him, but really no one here wants him and there like 20 better players we could get cheaper. His inconsistency and injuries are a big concern.

Not to what he brings to the game, basically we would be gambling that he recovers his Roma form, which it's a huge gamble, in no way a bargain.

People who think 4th striker isn’t important have very short memories. Remember the time when Sanchez got injured for 6 months, and we had to play Lukaku and Martinez without break and with no subs to bring in apart from a 17 year old?

We need a quality 4th striker. Dzeko, Cavani, or Giroud level at least.

After the injury, he's played, like, five games.

There are aspects of Asensio that I don't rate very well either - guy has the personality of a coward - but lets not make his post-injury "decline" sound more dramatic than it is. He only recently was able to get back on the field at all.

But he's not a starter at a top-level club, that much I think most of us can agree with. He's not someone I want to see starting here, not that his position exists within Conte's structure anyway.
