I wonder why Inter haven't gone after Ander Herrera as a bench option. I always thought he was a quality player wasted at Man Utd. He is only 29, and can easily be the Brozovic back up we desperately need. And he is now available for free allowing us to concentrate our precious budget on buying a few quality players.

That said, Sensi on a loan is also a decent option for back up.

Barella won't change a thing. But what more serious trouble do you want than having our current two dying starting midfielders (Valero and Nainnggolan). I would buy 5 younger midfielders for around 50m and two of them will most likely be better than Barella.
