As far as i remember, Marotta takes into account the will of the player. So, if Skriniar wants to stay, i don't think that Marotta will push him out. Other option is if his agent tries to lure him with more money.

I don't think we can challenge the best in Europe if we play with 2 best out of three regularly. On some occasions, maybe, but not regularly. We need to have the best player for every position we can possibly have.

I'm fine replacing Škriniar with Kumbulla, I think the later the Albanian has a higher ceiling.

On the other hand I'm definitely not OK exchanging him with Ndombele who is very talented but have very serious fitness issues. I would put Škriniar at €70M and I wouldn't pay more than €40M for Ndombele so this exchange doesn't make sense.

Ndombele is a huge risk tbh, with Spurs' valuation. They probably value him at least 60m€, same as what they paid. Failed with Mourinho big time, and Conte is similar level of demanded when it comes to work rate. Maybe he can get the beast of of Ndombele?

Ndombele has talent no doubting that and he has shown flashes of that this year at Spurs. I would be fine with acquiring him but not if we expect him to be our DM. He should be a CM in a 3-5-2 similar to the way conte used Pogba or Barella. We are still missing that piece in front of the defense although Brozo did a great job in that role again last night.
