Well let me introduce y’all to the newest gem in the talent factory at Ajax. 16 year old Midfielder Youri Regeer. He scored 3 goals in the UEFA Youth League as Ajax beat Valencia U19s 5-3. He is the top scorer in the tournament so far with 4 goals so far.

I want Tonali too, but he's not moving in January. We might be able to strike a deal with Brescia but they want to keep him to have a shot to avoid relegation. SMS has started to get hotter recently?

What if we're still 1st or thereabouts in January? Personally I refuse to even think about the scudetto but if the management is seriously thinking about winning it this season, and we are in a position to, come January, I could see it happening.

I want Tonali too, but he's not moving in January. We might be able to strike a deal with Brescia but they want to keep him to have a shot to avoid relegation. SMS has started to get hotter recently?

I understand that Tonali is a DM but he's more of a playmaker isn't he? How many playmakers do we need? How good is he defensively?

Castrovilli... He would be quite a nice solution tbh, he looks more naturally talented than SMS if you ask me... Except Fiora won't sell their young talent anymore it seems... Not so easily anyway, and in mid season...

This could be just media bullshit, but if there is a small chance of Kante being on the market, then Inter should go after him. Kante was world class under Conte, the best DM in the world IMO. Our midfield would take a leap in quality if we have Kante playing deep and he is brilliant in defending off the ball, and also in connecting the defence with attack on the ball.

This would be a dream come true for me if we can get him.

Juventus face competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid for one of their midfield transfer targets, according to international media outlet Sport via Calciomercato.com.

The Bianconeri are keen to acquire Chelsea’s key midfielder N’Golo Kante in the upcoming January transfer window, but now reportedly Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos are also looking to sign the 28-year-old Frenchman.

Kante played under Bianconeri coach Maurizio Sarri at Juventus last season, but the player failed to look his best as he played a more forward role for Sarri’s Chelsea than he had done prior with Leicester City or under previous Chelsea coach Antonio Conte.

However, Sarri still values his time with the World Cup winner and hopes to bring the player to Turin in January. Kante has struggled for playing time this season under Frank Lampard, in part due to a sprained ankle that has seen him miss four games. However, he was also left out of the squad against both Grimsby Town and Brighton.

I too refuse to think about the scudetto. I just think that without the preparation or games required for CL we wont need to make a big splash even if we were 1st-ish. I can see a utility type or at best SMS, but I dont see Lazio giving in despite the obvious signs that they've peaked with this squad.

SMS is about to extend his contract with Lazio , getting a raise to 3 million euros (after taxes) per season.

For all we know, but that's personal speculation, a non-written agreement could be included, that he will get to go to another team if Lazio is offered a X sum.

Contract is probably just a formality to give Lazio bargaining power in an eventual sale.

Even if we fall out of the CL group stage and even if the management isn't gunning for the scudetto this season, we still need reinforcement to the team to ensure we reach our minimum goal of 4th. Hopefully this time, we achieve that goal by more than 10 minutes. I would really hope we end up with more than another Cedric/Montoya/Wallace.

Alot depends on the market as well and I trust marotta to avoid the desperate overpay that many teams succumb to. Vecino and gagliardini are just a pair of legs, and it's not enough for a scudetto run. In that regard, Sunday vs Juve will be telling. We hit it big with stankovic but I'm struggling to remember any January signing that made a significant impact between January and june.

Tonali has said several times that he wants to play for Milan, why insist on the kid when he already made his choice.
