I think Garay is really good, especially if we get him for free.
Garay is fuckin` SOLID and is valued around €20m!!! Why on Earth would you think we can get him for FREE?! He has a contract running until 2019 and Zenit payed €6m for him in 2014.
I know Lucescu was appointed as a trainer and Witsel is also trying to escape Russia - so it might actually be the beginning of a new era @ Zenit... but still... dealing with russians is like dealing with Lotito.
I would even pay €8m for Garay, but not 15-20!
EDIT: I just checked to see if I remember correctly, and yes, Garay has SPANISH passport which means he wouldn't take 1 NON-EU slot I would pay attention to this rumour...
selling Rano + Juan for Acerbi and Garay would be interesting... if we sell Murillo for big cash maybe we can also bring Bruma in? :epicwin: #daydreaming
But I doubt we would change so many central defenders...
On 9 July 2013, Sassuolo, recently promoted to the Serie A purchased half of Acerbi's playing rights for a €1.8 million fee.[23] another remained a propriety of Genoa.[24] During a pre-season medical, a tumor in his testicles was discovered. Immediately, he underwent surgery in Milan. Soon after the tumor had been removed, he resumed training sessions with his new teammates. Acerbi had taken part in 13 games of 2013–14 Serie A season (mostly as a starter) before he failed a doping test on 1 December 2013. He denied accusations of doping, claiming that a positive result might be caused by side-effects of the medicine he had been taking to reconcile the consequences of his surgery. During the extra check-up, it was revealed that a tumor returned and Acerbi was diagnosed with testicular cancer. This time, he underwent a course of chemotherapy to treat the disease. On 15 March 2014, he announced that his life was not in danger anymore and expressed his readiness to play football again. It was also reported that Acerbi did not miss the majority of trainings during the time he had been receiving treatment.[25] In June 2014, the co-ownership deal was renewed by Sassuolo.
Not that wikipedia matters a lot, but Francesco Acerbi is already posted as being property of Internazionale with jersey number #15
We sure need italians for the UEFA quota, so expect italian signings (think Candreva/Acerbi/Berardi), especially since we are trying to get rid of Ranocchia.

Why Sassuolo wouldn't demand money with Rano for Acerbi is beyond me. Not that im complaining or anything :slick:
they do it's their fee for relaunching his career.
Acerbi seems the kind of denfeder that we lack: strong, secure, intelligent long balls (has balls to offer )
