Why is everyone here so against signing a player who actually has succeeded in Serie A but can't get minutes over the best wingers in the world for both club and country? He's sure as day getting outshined but he's nowhere near past it.
In addition to that past it in Serie A =/= past it in Ligue 1 or the Champions League..

If were willing to give Podolski a chance, why not a player that we've wanted for 5 years? It's not like we'd have trouble getting rid of him.

I actually think we'd have trouble getting rid of him. Like we have with Vidic for example. Lavezzi's main quality is his speed and it's likely to decline.

Agent: ‘Candreva could leave’
Antonio Candreva’s agent has fuelled transfer talk by saying ‘his cycle with Lazio could finish at the end of the season’.

The Italy international has been linked with the likes of Inter and Barcelona in recent weeks, with the Aquile underperforming so far this season.

His agent Federico Pastorello hasn’t helped to calm the speculation, although the suggestion is that any exit would be in the summer rather than January.

“Many offers have come in for Antonio over the years, but he has always wanted to stay at Lazio,” Pastorello told Il Messaggero.

“However, it’s possible that his cycle with the Biancocelesti could end and that he could ask to leave at the end of the season.”

Vidic's injury is the only reason why he's still here.. This is Italy, old players are always welcome, if not by us, but by other clubs.

But enough about that, sure Lavezzi is fast, but so was Obafemi Martins. Lavezzi's game consisted of so much more than pace, and it's selling him short to basically regard him as a fast player who turned 31 and is no longer as fast, so he's not going to be good.

We should always be looking for ways to get better, and I believe Lavezzi could do that.. However, I just hope this isn't just lubing us up for a January 29th, Icardi sale.We really don't need Lavezzi, given our schedule and him coming could mean someone leaving..

Lavezzi plays as a left winger or to put it in other words, he plays at his best in the left wing. So how come we signed a left winger only 5 months ago and now we are signing another one... when we only have Biabiany as true right winger... no sense at all.

On the other hand, we have Candreva rumours which are much more logic given the needs I think Mancini have.

And I say Mancini, cause my needs are totally different. I don't think we need a right winger as much as we need a deep lying playmaker.

The regista position is priority IMO for a midfield trio to perform as required (with two box to box midfielders in Bro and Kdog).

Simple. His wages are huge and he is soon to be 31 years old winger that heavily relies on strength and pace, the first two attributes that are lost with age. He is not great dribbler nor is great without the ball.

For free and low wage could be short term solution, but thats not the case.

Lavezzi again.... Zzzz

The report says that Inter have set a limit of 3m per year for his salary and now want to know the intentions of the player.
January 10 could be an important date as a meeting has reportedly been set between the Serie A leaders and the Argentines agent Alejandro Mazzoni.

I'd take Martins over Lavezzi.

Ezeqiuel Lavezzi has been followed by Inter in many recent transfer windows in the last couple of years. According to numerous rumors, the Nerazzurri want to fulfill the player’s desire of a return to Italy. During the winter retreat involving Inter and PSG, the Nerazzurri challenged PSG’s intention of keeping the former Napoli man until the end of the season.

FcInternews.it report that the scenario is quite difficult since PSG are asking for 5-6 million euros for Lavezzi. Inter do not want to spend any money on the winger. At the moment talks have not progressed and the French club are declining offers now, as opposed to the summer, when the player’s contract expires. The player’s future is practically written out.

- - - Updated - - -

During the show 'Football premium' on premium sports, there were new updates Regarding Inter's pursuit of Ezequiel Lavezzi. The Nerazzurri are not willing to spend 3.5 million euros on the Argentina. It is unlikely That PSG will let the player leave for such a low price. The alternative is Eder, a player who Roberto Mancini demanded last summer.

...Dodo feat. Alvarez to Samp ... Eder feat. Soriano to Inter

Inter study Eder
The league returns with Genoa-Samp, Mancini likes the Blucerchiati forward
He’s the first alternative if Lavezzi doesn’t happen. And Dodo for Montella will help the negotiation

Fuck no Eder. We have enough forwards already, no? We have to bench some of them, at least one of Jovetic, Ljajic, Icardi, Perisic is going to eat bench in almost every game. And then there's Palacio also.

Inter could reportedly include Andrea Ranocchia in a deal for Sampdoria striker Eder.

The Nerazzurri were interested in the striker this summer, but had an offer totalling €9m for a loan and redemption rejected by the Blucerchiati.

However, with reports today that Samp are looking at Sevilla’s Ciro Immobile, it appears there is a possibility Eder could be allowed to leave.

Calciomercato reports that Sampdoria would demand at least €10m for the Italian international, who is under contract until 2020.

With Financial Fair Play obligations to meet, the Beneamata would have no intention of paying such a fee up-front, but could attempt a cash plus players deal.

Andrea Ranocchia is surplus to requirements at San Siro, but has rejected moves to Norwich and Bologna in recent weeks.

With the defender looking to force his way into the Azzurri set-up for Euro 2016 though, it’s thought he could be included as part of a deal for Eder.

Mancini press conference after Empoli win!

After the attempt in the summer, has Eder returned to be a target on the transfer market?
“I don’t think Sampdoria will sell him, in January its not easy to operate on the transfer market.”

Inter might’ve faced problems in their hunt for Ezequiel Lavezzi. According to Premium Sport, Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni will meet with Chelsea in exactly a week. If Chelsea show’s interest in getting Lavezzi, they also have to economical muscles to pay for him to leave in January. This would mean problems for both Inter and Juventus who’d want to get Lavezzi in June.

Rather we brought Lamela back to Italy than Lavezzi.

We should be shopping in Serie B, Players like Fiorentinas Bernadeschi one of Serie Bs top talents 2 yrs ago is circling interest from Barca and Man Unt.

Lapadula who was one of Serie Cs top players and free agent is now a top the scoring charts in Serie B along with Roberto Insigne one of the league leaders in assists with limited playing time.

I would still welcome Sau or Ragusa, Pasquato, De Luca.

Last yrs top assist man in Serie B was Filippo Falco, now on Bologna, not sure of his situation.

Other wingers like Garritano, i think once belonging to us, or Giannetti whos put up numbers for the last few yrs in B.
