This is our first summer Mercato under new ownership so I'm not sure we should use previous summers as a gauge of how much we're going to spend.

Why do you think we cannot afford? I think you should go look at how much $$ we've spent EACH mercato over the past 3 years.

I though Inter is trying to cut cost so they can finally break even in the future. Also it has been hard to get top players to Inter when Inter is out of CL and even bigger reason I think is their salary.

In my opinion .at the moment . . We only can buy striker from a lower reputation club...like torino. Cagliari. Etc.
Of course that benefit for us .. because we get low salary player and low transfer cost..
I like cerci and joel valencia ..

But I still dreaming get a player from big club.. to attract marketing our club...
Example get mandzukic or dzeko...or even lukaku

Thohir has something up his sleeve, I think. We have saved a lot of money from the high wages of retired senators. And we are being very miserly with our spending so far. I think the idea is to try and fill a lot of gaps with economically viable solutions like M'Vila, Dodo, etc and then spend all the remaining budget on a big time transfer - most likely a top striker.

Jovetic, I haven't lost all hope yet. That would be so fucking awesome. Its been a long, long time since I started a season with *hope*. Please, let it be this one.

I really hope this is the case. That we try to minimize the costs everywhere and then make a big signing, like a statement that we're here too. If this kind of thing happens, it will happen in latter part of August most probably.

Good thing Icardi is such a smart boy. I just heard he is leaving football behind so he can join Mensa.

(Džeko and Icardi are actually really similiar. Confident and calm, I saw Džeko scoring some important goals and I have a feeling Icardi is the same type, not easily crushed under pressure. If you wanna talk stupid - Balotelli is stupid. He has all the attributes to be the best player in his country, but he is too lazy and too stupid to use his talents to the maximum.)

I agree that Icardi is not very bright but he has bright future, at least I hope so. Edin Džeko is much more stupid and I assume that he will have 1 or 2 more seasons at top level, but no season like those 3 or 4 that are behind him. And I disagree that Balotelli is stupid when talking about intelligence, but he is lazy and probably having some mental issues but i doubt he is a dummy like Džeko.
